Peur Bleue introduce Nick Araguay
The Peckham label will release the SE15 Tales EP from the locally-based producer next month – stream a track here.
Founder Anatole Baboukhian may well have contributed the bulk of Peur Bleue’s releases under his production alias Gohan, but the Peckham-based label does have form for uncovering compelling new talent. Last year saw the label grant a debut release to Nummer pairing Silvère Letellier and Emmanuel Corre who have gone on to work with Going Good, Firecracker, and Fragile Musique as well as start their own label. The next Peur Bleue 12″ throws the focus on another newcomer from London in the shape of Nick Araguay, a ‘ghostly’ Peckhamite producer whose five-track SE15 Tales EP is introduced in hazy fashion with beatless synth workout “AEIOU”. Stream it below ahead of the 12″ arriving next month.
