Stream Yves De Mey remix of Svreca

The Belgian artist has remixed Svreca alongside Surgeon for Semantica’s next 12″.

As we reported in September, Semantica Boss Svreca employed both Surgeon and Yves De Mey to remix his four-track Narita EP, with Surgeon adding some extra modular boom to the appropriately titled “Mountain Splitter”, while Yves De Mey gave the record’s B2 cut, “Trance”, two distinctly different remixes. We have an exclusive stream of De Mey’s second ‘Env Follower Remix’ below which in comparison to the beaty electronic funk of his ‘Lush 104 Remix’ is more in line with the experimental drum designs, spatial atmospheres and static ambience of his Counting Triggers album for Sandwell District, and a fine example of the artist’s cultivated sound. Due for official release on Friday, November 13, it precedes the Drawn With Shadow Pens album by Yves De Mey due on Spectrum Spools in January.
