Planet Mu announce Herva album

The Italian producer will release Kila on the label next month.

Despite releasing several excellent albums as well as a definitive label retrospective in the shape of the 20th Anniversary Compilation issued last month, Planet Mu are not quite done with 2015 just yet. Wedged in amongst the 50 tracks featured on that aforementioned compilation was a contribution from Herva, aka Florence-based artist Hervè Atsè Corti who has been a long-term favourite of the Juno Plus editorial team. The bond between Herva and Planet Mu will strengthen further with the arrival of a new album from the Florence artist on the label in late November called Kila.

Taking its name from the Swahili word for ‘Everything’, the album was produced on a mixture of software and self-modded hardware and looks to be a logical progression in sound for Corti, displaying a similar swerve through tempos and sounds which characterised his 2014 Delsin LP Instant Broadcast. Kila represents the latest release of a busy year for Corti, with a mini-LP for All City complemented by a fine Don’t Be Afraid debut, a remix of Nick Höppner, as well as a debut Life’s Track LP alongside his Bosconi cohort Dukwa.
