Voiski climbs aboard Delsin
The ever-rising French producer will bring Breaths Written Outside The Gloom to the Dutch label in November.
While Voiski has been working solidly in the field of dynamic, electrified techno since 2008, it has been in the last couple of years that he has started to garner a lot of attention. Of course releases such as IAI Movement EP and Culture To Trash on L.I.E.S. have helped no end with that, but equally a strong live presence, a collaborative project with fellow hot property Vril, and further output on The Monkey Bar and Sheik āNā Beik have sealed the deal in making him a regularly name checked individual, and with good reason. Delsin meanwhile have been focusing on their dsr-c# series so far this year (alongside plenty of other releases, sub-labels and the like), previously putting out Son.Sine, Sven Weisemann and Artefakt on the vaguely defined run of singles.
Next up with dsr-c5 is Voiski, presenting more of his tonally rich techno jams under the seasonably moody title Breaths Written Outside The Gloom. The four-track EP deals in direct club-ready tackle, sporting plenty of the hallmarks the Parisian has made his name on from growling basslines and punchy leads to grainy textures and infinitesimal processing changes.
Delsin will release Breaths Written Outside The Gloom by Voiski on November 2.
