Listen to the O/H remix of AnD

OH
We have a full stream of Rich Oddie and David Foster’s remix of “Power Spectrum” from the Mancunian duo’s debut album Cosmic Microwave Background.

It’s been a hard-worked road for AnD to finally release an album and it came courtesy of Speedy J’s Electric Deluxe last year. The AnD sound has experienced quite the metamorphosis since the Mancunian duo first surfaced with their own unique take on dub techno and garage inspired beats on records like Non Compliant, Algorythmic Love and Hydrothermal. It was around the release of their second Black Sun Records 12″ in 2012 that AnD begun to carve their niche into what they described as Dave Clarke-inspired techno, however they were still open to a more experimental fare by finding releases on labels like Felix K’s furtive Hidden Hawaii and Geoff Presha’s genre-bending Samurai Horo.

In 2014 AnD broke into the greater techno conciousness with their Electric Deluxe bow Dark Matter, a precursor of the sounds served on their subsequent debut album, Cosmic Microwave Background. Jochem Paap’s label has since enlisted a behemoth cast of techno elite to remix the album which took in reworks from Lucy and Speedy J’s Zeitgeber collaboration, and Sleeparchive, in addition to a ‘reshape’ by JK Flesh, aka Justin Broadrick of Godflesh, and two remixes by iconic post-punk industrialists Black Rain. Furthermore, and of great interest to Juno Plus, is the inclusion of a O/H remix, a burgeoning collaboration between Rich Oddie of Orphx and Dave Foster of Teste (pictured above), and we’re delighted to host a full stream of their noisey workout to album track “Power Spectrum” below.
