Watch a video for Niagara’s “Abacaxi Limão”
A suitably colourful video for the Portuguese trio’s newly released Príncipe record has surfaced.
With Warp currently knee deep in profiling the Lisbon scene with their ongoing Cargaaa series of 12″ releases, it feels like a lot more people will be exposed to the good work being done by the city’s foremost champions, Príncipe. Not soon after debuting on From The Depths, Niagara have just returned to Príncipe with Ímpar, their second 12″ for the label and to celebrate its arrival the Loures trio have put together a fresh video for one of the tracks. Roughly translating as Pineapple Lemon, “Abacaxi Limão” is a vibrant track that sounds so alive you can almost hear the rugged bassline breathing, and the collage of colourful visuals António Arruda, Alberto Arruda and Sara Eckerson have put together are a most appropriate accompaniment. Niagara’s YouTube channel is filled with their own visual creations should you wish to investigate further.
