Prins Thomas launches Rett I Fletta label
The Norwegian’s new label will focus on “music for neanderthals”.
2014 has seen a flurry of activity centred around the founding father of Scandolearic disco and his main label Full Pupp. At the end of this month, Prins Thomas will release his third solo album III, whilst Full Pupp are celebrating a decade of shaping Norwegian disco with 10 Years Of Full Pupp, a sprawling compilation that has already seen four 12″ samplers, and will conclude with a double CD next month. Not content with running the Full Pupp label and its more globally focused Internasjonal offshoot, details have now surfaced of another Prins Thomas helmed imprint called Rett I Fletta.
Rett I Fletta will be inaugurated next month by a pair of 12″s from Prins Thomas himself, brandishing some fine label artwork from Mr Doug Lee. As Resident Advisor report, the first 12″ Blusjketuta features all new Prins Thomas material, whilst the second record is led by a Lang Version of III album track “Åpne Slusa”, complemented by a remix from Italian pair Margot and two “cool tools for DJ fools”. Those wishing to get a taste for Rett I Fletta can stream both releases in full below.
Rett I Fletta wil launch with the Blusjketuta and Åpne Slusa 12″ next month.
