Livity Sound remix series continues with Beneath and Ghost-202

The UK producer and Ron Morelli and Svengalisghost’s collaborative project are next to rework Livity Sound material for a forthcoming 12″.

Livity Sound’s ongoing series of remix 12″s this year has proved that not all remix projects need necessarily be shameless cash grabs, with Pangaea, MMM and A Made Up Sound all adding their distinct signature to tracks from the Livity Sound trio of Peverelist, Kowton and Asusu and opening the source material up in interesting and exciting new ways.

Now Livity Sound has revealed details of the next 12″ in the series, which pairs a remix from UK producer Beneath (pictured above) with one from the more unlikely bedfellows of L.I.E.S. boss Ron Morelli and Svengalisghost’s recently adopted Ghost-202 project. Available to preview below, Beneath transforms Kowton’s mechanical “Jam01” into something with a little more of organic rhythmic swing similar to his own productions, while Ghost-202 turn Pev’s “Livity” into the kind of growling industrial monster of a track that you’d expect from Morelli and Cooper.

Livity Sound will release “Livity” (Ghost-202 remix)/”Jam01″ (Beneath remix) on 12″ format on April 28.
