Sample the Dry Thoughts of Route 8
Preview the Hungarian’s forthcoming release for the Lobster Theremin label.
Since first adopting the Route 8 guise last year, Budapest-based Gergely Szilveszter Horváth has quietly impressed with his cross-format releases for Bokhari, S. Olbricht’s Farbwechsel label and the break out Athens operation Nous. Having most recently appeared on a split tape release with the risibly named Danada Cry for Farbwechsel, Horváth’s next vinyl manoeuvre comes courtesy of the Lobster Theremin label, with the Dry Thoughts 12″ slated for release early next month. Available to preview below, the release is described as an “excursion into the depths of his private production world” and slots nicely into the Lobster Theremin aesthetic established by previous releases from Palms Trax, Steve Murphy and Snow Bone.
