Check the video for the closing track from Blondes’ recently released second album, Swisher.

Released onto an unsuspecting public with zero fanfare late last month, RVNG Intl took the unexpected approach of releasing Blondes’ second album Swisher digitally ahead of its vinyl edition in August, whilst also making it freely available to stream on YouTube. Although that stream was certainly not short of woozy Windows Media Player-style visual effects, the below video for album “Elise”, directed by Greg Zifcak, opts to take the analogue video approach a step further, with an ever-changing series of vivid geometric patterns kaleidoscoping their way across what looks suspiciously like an old CRT TV screen.
