David Rodigan, Optimo and L.I.E.S. join Pleasure Principle line-up

The inaugural Pleasure Principle festival has expanded its line-up with a host of new additions, including David Rodigan, Ron Morelli & Steve Summers and Optimo.

Announced last November, the new festival takes place over April 26-28 near the picturesque Cornish town of Newquay, and sees the Numbers crew teaming up with the organisers of the defunct Dedbeat festival for three days of impressively varied music; the likes of Omar S, Jackmaster, Ben UFO and Levon Vincent have already announced alongside the likes of Will Bankhead, Legowelt, Maurice Fulton and Public Information.

If anything the latest names to join the bill are even more diverse; legendary grime crew Ruff Sqwad have joined the line-up following the release of retrospective compilation White Label Classics, as does renowned reggae selector David Rodigan MBE and recent Rinse FM residents Optimo. New York is also well represented; L.I.E.S. boss Ron Morelli will be joined by fellow Two Dogs In A House member Steve Summers, while fellow Mister Saturday Night will be bringing a taste of their legendary parties to the south west of England. Kowton, Glasgow’s All Caps imprint, Benji B, disco legend Leroy Burgess, Artwork, Krystal Klear, Awesome Tapes From Africa, and Paris based DJ/producer Kool Clap round out the additions.

Full line-up and ticket information can be found on the Pleasure Principle website.
