Watch: Actress – Voodoo Posse Chronic Illusion

Werkdiscs have just revealed a video accompaniment for a track on the label’s forthcoming EP from Actress.

Entitled “Voodoo Posse Chronic Illusion”, the track is a combination of sampled harp and deconstructed digital noise with the sluggish pace of an Andy Stott record and originally featured on a highly limited white label test pressing released last month which swiftly sold out. The video accompanies the track’s last section, its monochrome, time-warped footage taken from Tokyo’s Skytree tower last year providing a suitably atmospheric backdrop to the track’s muffled buzz.

Those who missed out on the white label will be pleased to hear that the record will receive a full artwork release sometime later this month.
