Listen: Róisín Murphy – Simulation (Mano Le Tough remix)

As we reported recently, Irish singer Róisín Murphy is about to resurface on Permanent Vacation with the Crooked Man produced disco number “Simulation” – you can now hear the Mano Le Tough remix.

It’s possibly the strangest artist/label combination we’ve come across this year, but on the basis of the Berlin dwelling Irishman’s self titled “Power House” revision, the soon to drop release certainyl fits snugly into the Permanent Vacation canon. The progression from what sounds uncannily like a kettle reaching boiling point into the bristling, ever shifting house refrain upon which ol’ Róisín’s distinctive delivery glides makes us wonder just what’s happened to Le Tough’s long mooted LP.
