Watch: Jacques Greene – Ready

Jacques Greene’s eagerly awaited EP for Martyn’s 3024 imprint landed this week, and now there’s an unofficial video to go with its title track.

One YouTube commenter suggests that “Ready” “sounds like if Burial did the OST for Tron”, which is actually a fairly accurate description, but far from being a tired Burial knock-off from an unknown, the likes of which clog up the pipes of the internet on a regular basis, the track is a prime example of the meaty, neon tinged club techno Martyn has been so expertly cherrypicking for his label.

Ready is out now through 3024 on 12″ and digital formats.
