Cititrax present Mutual Dreaming by Innergaze

Minimal Wave have revealed full details of the forthcoming Innergaze album, entitled Mutual Dreaming, which will see release on the New York label’s rarely used offshoot Cititrax later this month.

Innergaze is of course the musical project of visual artist Aurora Halal and man of a million music projects Jason Letkiewicz, and their working relationship with the Minimal Wave label dates back to Veronica Vasicka performing mastering duties on the duo’s debut album We Are Strange Loops back in 2010.

The title Mutual Dreaming is no doubt taken from the ongoing series of Brooklyn-based parties of the same name that Halal and Letkiewicz oversee which have had a raft of Juno Plus favourites play in recent times, including Beautiful Swimmers, Andrew Morgan from the PPU label, L.I.E.S boss Ron Morelli, Soft Metals, and Xosar.

Musically, you can expect the eight track album to tread a heavily psychedelic and saturated path between EBM, Cold Wave and early techno – all tied together by loose, intuitive drum machine rhythms. Typically for a Minimal Wave affiliated release, no expense has been spared with the presentation, with the limited edition album pressed on 160 gram vinyl and housed in a high quality full color printed sleeve featuring artwork done in collaboration between label boss Veronica Vasicka and Aurora Halal.

Cititrax will Mutual Dreaming by Innergaze on April 16.
