Listen: Four Hours of Future Times

The ever excellent Washington DC based imprint Future Times – home to Beautiful Swimmers, Protect U, Maxmillion Dunbar and the superb Vibe compilations – have expanded their online profile with a label Soundcloud page, promising to reveal the many musical delights they have up their sleeve this year.

Ahead of all that, a four hour plus recording straight from the mixing desk at the free party entitled The Whale held in DC late last month has been made available for general aural consumption. Wild Oats signee Jay Simon joined them on the night and the subsequent recording is the type of rough round the edges house and mutant boogie we have come to expect from those involved with Future Times. We believe the correct term here is “dig in sir, and make yourself comfortable”.
