Listen: Professor Genius’ Hassan Mixtape

As previously reported elsewhere on this here site, the ever excellent L.I.E.S. are preparing to release Hassan, a double vinyl album from synth auteur Professor Genius, no doubt the label’s most ambitious release to date in its fledgling existence.

In an attempt to further whet appetites already quite hungry for its release, Professor Genius aka Jorge Velez has put together a near hour long mix that quite possibly hints at some of the influences that go into the forthcoming album, featuring tracks from Cheikah Remitti, Coil, Gnaoua Street Musicians, Mahmoud Guinia and William. S. Burroughs along with his own material.
