Steinberg premiere new USB audio interfaces
Steinberg have announced a new series of audio interfaces, namely the desktop UR28M (pictured above) and rack mountable UR824, which have been designed in conjunction with the latest Cubase AI 6 software.
The first to hit the shelves will be the UR28M, which is a 24-bit/96 kHz USB 2.0 interface with four analogue inputs (including two Neutrik combos) and six analogue outputs plus S/PDIF I/O. It features latency-free DSP-powered monitoring with one REV-X reverb and four Channel Strips using Yamaha’s latest SSP2 DSP chip and dspMixFx technology.
It comes with REV-X and Channel Strip Native VST 3 plug-ins. It’s Cross-platform compatible with Cubase AI 6 DAW software and drivers for Mac OS X and Windows included.
Keep an eye on Juno for the the UR28M’s arrival, which will be priced at £390.
