Pioneer premiere DJM-T1 mixer
This year’s Musikmesse conference in Frankfurt saw the announcement of Pioneer’s all new DJM-T1 hybrid mixer, which is optimised for Native Instruments’ Traktor Duo 2 software.
As well as operating in regular audio DJ mixer format, the DJM-T1 can be used as a MIDI controller and audio interface armed with the same sound characteristics of the DJM-2000. The Traktor software enables full DVS scratch control thanks to the included time-coded control vinyl and CDs.
This will give the user access to all browsing, loading, cue, play and nudge features alongside effects and sample deck control. The magnetic crossfader comes equipped with lag, tension, curve and reverse functions, with the 3-band isolator type EQ ranging from +6dB to -∞dB for high, mid and low ranges individually.
The DJM-T1 will be available in July, priced at £1,279. For more information check out the official video below. You can read our full round-up of Musikmesse 2011 here.
