Addison Groove next up for 3024

3024’s swift West Country takeover is complete! Hot on the heels of Julio Bashmore’s soon to be released equine endeavours for Martyn’s label comes the news that 3024 will be releasing two slices of forward thinking bass music from fellow Bristol lynchpin Addison Groove.

Addison Groove aka Tempa mainstay Headhunter arguably scored one of last year’s dancefloor changers in the heavy juke stylings of “Footcrab” that signalled the beginning of Lofeah’s Swamp81 imprint.  A recent, second AG excursion for Swamp81 demonstrated that the Addison Groove sound was ever evolving – leaning on a retro electro foundation twisted all the way up to a snapping 140bpm.

The twelfth 3024 release sees Addison Groove further demonstrates his shifting sonic palette, delivering two unreleased tracks from his personal armory with the tightly wound dizzying sounds of “It’s Got Me” complemented by the cosmic Cybotron meets juke pressure of “Minutes Of Funk”.

3024 will release “It’s Got Me/Minutes Of Funk” by Addison Groove on May 2.
