Tiger & Woods to remix Tensnake
In news that constitutes a wet dream for nu-disco fans, Tensnake this week revealed that his “Need Your Lovin” track has been remixed by mysterious duo Tiger & Woods.
Tensnake, aka Marco Niemerski, revealed the news this week with the help of some colourful language on his Twitter account.
“Need Your Lovin” first surfaced earlier this year on the B Side of obscure single “Coma Cat” on Permanent Vacation, which you may have heard once or twice this year. It was the catalyst for a fantastic year for the German producer, who was picked up by dance music juggernaut Defected but still managed to release a couple of gems on his own Mirau imprint.
Tiger & Woods, meanwhile, moved away from the world of disco edits with their first commissioned remix released in November (of Hundred In The Hands’ “Commotion”on Warp Records). They also played a host of live dates across Europe, with more slated for 2011, although their true identity remains shrouded in secrecy.
