Andrew Weatherall remix of Trentemøller announced

Juno Plus favourite and all round legend Andrew Weatherall has turned his remixing skills on Danish producer Trentemøller.

Wevvers’ take on “Silver Surfer, Ghost Rider Go!!!”, plucked from this year’s Into The Great Wide Yonder album, is a raw and sleazy affair, with a low slung punk-funk bassline the central focus. It will be of little surprise for us to inform you that it’s utterly awesome.

Trentemøller’s own remix of the track also falls under the category of ‘essential listening’, with a raw, rocky feel that evokes the spirit of Jim Morrison. Copenhagen‘s Lulu Rouge, aka DJ T.O.M. and Buda, round off the release with a nice dubsteppish remix.

The 12″ will be released on November 15, 2010 via Trentemøller’s own In My Room imprint. Check out the full tracklisting below.
