Video: The 2 Bears – “Be Strong”

The 2 Bears are Raf Rundell of Greco Roman and Joe Goddard of Hot Chip fame. After crossing each other many a time in sweaty DJ booths at Greco Roman parties across the world, they decided to team up and knock out a few dancefloor friendly vocal house numbers.

One such track, “Be Strong”, now has its own video, which features, we can only assume, Raf and Joe traversing London’s public transport system to the mild bemusement of onlookers.

There’s much love in the track, from the Daft Punk “Teachers”-esque shout outs to a diverse range of musical friends and heroes (Moodymann, A Tribe Called Quest, Toddla T and the Beach Boys gets a mention), to the main vocal line, which implores us to “give the music all your lovin’.” Sterling advice!
