About to throw one of their Shake It parties with the world-renowned Carl Cox, London’s Layo & Bushwacka! will be bringing tech-house vibes this Easter Thursday taking place at the Warehouse, SE1 London. 1. Claude vonStroke feat. Bootsy Collins – The Greasy Beat – (dOP remix) – DirtyBird

I like the funk feel of this label and this is a very powerful dancefloor remix

2. Layo & Bushwacka!  – The Longest Day(Mirko Loko remix) –  Olmeto

Yes it’s ours but I chose the remix so only 50% nepotism, really interesting quirky rework from Mirko

3. dOP – Stock Option – Circus Company

I love the deep haunting vibes of dOP and this really works for me

4. Cortney Tidwell – Palace (Michael Cleis Is it Too Late Remix) – AUS

Again deep, I love Michael Cleis’ take on house rhythms, very funky.

5. Mike Shannon – Under the Radar feat. Fadila(Ricardo Villalobos remix) – Cynosure Recordings

Vocals on this and the hypnotic arrangement, I like being able to change the mood of the room and this is that kind of track.

6. Omar S –  Psychotic Photosynthesis – FXHE Recordings

An oldie but a goodie!

7. Peter Kruder – Law of Return – Macro Recordings

A certain kind of techno, I still miss downtempo but this is a great track.

8. Making Contact –  Designer Beaver (Uto Karem remix)-  Minus

Great rhythm always from Uto Karem and for me the strongest track on this compilation.

9. Basti Grub – Lina – Hohenregler Records

House sound that has been around a bit but works very well in this track.

10. Laurent Garnier – Stargazing – Crosstown Rebels

I think amazingly this is a b-side, full Laurent Garnier in effect.
