right now world is full of jazz heads... this is my choice, Admiral, I was away in Japan and while shopping at Lighthouse records this was paying in the background... killer dirty electronic jazz, grabbed one immediately... it flows away super smoothly and "Lonely Palms Couch Party" and "Soho Girl" are perfect balearic gabba classics in the makin', Don't know much about the band but I've discovered it's on italian artist Panoram's label, Wandering Eye. All cool!!!
This is the other new record that I bought that afternoon at Lighthouse in Shibuya... a repress of some obscure proto New York house, it's not totally a new sound but "Dance Time" is the call to dancefloor for the next gigs guaranteed.
since Manu gave me a test pressing, I've played this at every trippy occasion and never failed. Mushrooms Project fully covered of schiuma... tanta schiuma...
sunday morning music & a wonderful little 7" on Ubiquity
Fabrizio Mammarella introduced me to world of Shit & Shine, after a few years I have to admit that if I was 18 again I'd be listening to this music only. Hardcore... here "Yeam I'm on acid" steas the show... a winner for the next months to come, nice artwork too
aaaaaarghhhh.... Moribonda!!!!! finally someone did a proper dancefloor edit of this italian oddity. fantastic!!!
second Talking Drums from Manchester with some outstanding obscure balearic madness... well done!
expect the unexpected... berlin tropical kids Prongof 108 first release on their own label is just amazing, had to listen Compusonic Imports 17 times in a row...
reissue of the century??? most tripped-out record out there??? both!!!
I'm pleased to realize that there's some really nice breakbeats around, this one on Banoffee Pies is the sickest of the lot.
