Nobels CHO-Mini Compact Stereo Chorus Effects Pedal
Cat: 1065447

The pocket-sized, yet feature packed, the Nobels CHO-mini pedal combines an outstanding selection of chorus tones, all in a budget-friendly and space-saving enclosure
Notes: CHO-mini

Compact Stereo Chorus Pedal

The pocket-sized, yet feature packed, the Nobels CHO-mini pedal combines an outstanding selection of chorus tones, all in a budget-friendly and space-saving enclosure. With a heritage of building chorus units in the past, Nobels has engineered this all new pedal to offer maximum versatility, in a super compact package.

Providing a skilfully curated selection of ageless chorus effects, CHO-mini delivers a wealth of sonic possibilities, with either a mono or spacious stereo image. The achievable tones are far beyond the
pedal's modest footprint and is an excellent addition to any type of setup.

The CHO-mini features three carefully crafted, yet distinct chorus flavours. All three modes faithfully capture those iconic modulation tones that have shaped music across genres, past and present and are simply selected by the pedal's convenient mode switch, right on the face of the pedal.

"Chorus 1"

This emulates the coveted and well-established bucket-brigade style of chorus pedal tones from the 70s. You know "THAT" Chorus sound that is instantly recognisable from many popular recordings.

"Chorus 2"

Based on a different flavour of stereo chorus, "Chorus 2" allows for a higher rate towards the end of the control range, enabling pleasing vibrato like textures.

"Flanging"

While not a flanger tone in a traditional sense, this mode emulates another extremely popular (and rare and expensive in its original form) chorus pedal from the 70s, in its subtle flanging mode. Think of this as a comb-filter phasing of the signal (like feedback on a delay), focusing on its luscious general character and without becoming too extreme.

Adding to its flexibility, the CHO-mini features full tap tempo functionality, but in a single switch design. Simply holding the footswitch for approximately two seconds enters the pedal into "Tap Tempo Mode", following which the pedal will respond to rhythmic tapping instantly. Further defying expectations based on its compact appearance, there are dedicated toggles for selection between mono and stereo (TRS) operation as well as true or buffered bypass modes, making the pedal suitable for almost any musical situation, anywhere, any time.

As with all other current Nobels pedals, the CHO-mini features 4 integrated Mounty-P Mounting Plates for safe and secure attachment to pedalboards. With its full metal enclosure and Glow in the Dark pointer knobs, the CHO-mini is a pint-sized powerhouse that's built for performance!

Nobels ODR-1 30th Anniversary Overdive Effects Pedal (limited gold sparkle edition)
Cat: 977991 Rel: 20 Nov 23

Overdrive effects pedal
Notes: The ODR-1 30th Anniversary Overdrive - Limited Gold Sparkle Edition commemorates three decades since the pedal's introduction in 1993.

Ideal for blues and crunchy rock sounds (or for that extra punch when soloing), the Nobels ODR-1 has been the first choice and secret weapon for many players and top studio guitarists for 30 years. To celebrate this milestone, Nobels have produced a very special gold sparkle finish edition and added a new versatile and convenient Bass Cut Pot for more even more tonal flexibility.

Limited to 5000 units worldwide, each pedal is numbered and includes a certificate, a sticker, a special plectrum and features the original ODR-1 front cover design.

The top selling ODR-1 pedal has developed its own almost cult following since it was first designed and engineered way back in the eighties. At NAMM 2020, the pedal was upgraded to the now current ODR-1BC model. With the addition of a (much-requested) bass cut switch to help tame low end (if needed for humbuckers etc.) as well as newly developed power circuitry for enhanced headroom, it makes the pedal way more versatile for the modern age.

However, in celebration of three decades of Natural Overdrive, the ODR-1 30th Anniversary Overdrive now features an even more useful and convenient variable Bass Cut Pot, based on feedback from musicians around the world. It also retains all the other upgraded features from the BC model such as higher headroom and Glow-in-the-Dark knobs, as well as Nobels' Spectrum control- one of the most important ingredients of the original pedal's success.

The very special gold sparkle finish makes this edition look as stunning as it sounds and only a limited number of ODR-1 30th Anniversary Overdrive pedals will be released, just 5000 worldwide.

So grab a piece of legendary overdrive history while you can!

Nobels ODR-1X Natural Overdrive Effects Pedal
Cat: 1048328 Rel: 17 Dec 24

Natural overdrive effects pedal with bass cut control
Notes: For over 30 years, the Nobels ODR-1 overdrive pedal has become a renowned classic and has developed cult-like status among guitarists worldwide. Seen as an indispensable staple in many professional setups, the pedal has become an industry standard that is widely imitated, but seldom surpassed.

The new Nobels ODR-1X is the next generation of this now legendary overdrive, heralding a new chapter in the Nobels overdrive legacy. Due to popular demand, a convenient external bass cut pot has been added, as well as the option to change between true bypass or buffered bypass. For hi-gain aficionados, a new switchable hi-gain boost is also now available. This is capable of transforming ODR-1X into a true hard rock monster. With the ability to control both the gain boost and bypass remotely, along with the unique SPECTRUM tone control, fold-out Mounty-P mounting plates and knobs with fluorescent 'Glow in the Dark' pointers, the ODR-1X adds worthwhile flexibility and utility to a time-tested favourite.

For extended ease of use, the internal Bass Cut feature originally included in the ODR-1BC is now available as an external variable control right on the face of the pedal. This allows for complete optimisation of the pedal's bass response on the fly, at the simple turn of a knob. The flexibility of this new additional control compliments Nobels' unique and renowned SPECTRUM tone control, which alters the proportion of both the low-mid and high frequencies simultaneously. At midday, the frequencies remain almost untouched. However, moving from the minimum to maximum positions will deliver variations in frequency response that are suitable for a wealth of musical tastes and styles.

ODR-1X also now features the ability to switch between True Bypass and Buffered Bypass via a mini switch that is located within the top loading battery compartment. True Bypass gives the maximum tonal purity. While players who are using longer cable runs, can switch to Buffered Bypass mode to preserve high frequencies. No matter what Bypass mode you choose, you also have the functionality of being able to switch the pedal on and off and control the new Gain Boost feature remotely via the pedal's TRS connection.

The pedal operates at standard 9 V DC, however if run at 18 V, this allows ODR-1X to deliver increased dynamic headroom. As with all Nobels pedals, the ODR-1X features integrated Mounty-P Mounting Plates for safe and secure attachment to pedalboards.
