Feedback Modules

Notes: +/-18dB is an active amplifier module, capable to amplify or attenuate signals up to +/-18 decibels.

The circuit is highly optimized to work well both with audio and CV signals.

It is useful in the following situations:

- to amplify audio signals from various external sources like IPODs IPADs, portable recorders, desktop synths or drum machines to eurorack levels.

- to amplify CV signals to produce stronger modulations. For example applying a slew limiter with long attack and decay times to noise, will reduce the amplitude of the resulted signal so in many cases you may need to amplify it to produce the right modulations.

- to clip signals. For example transform a triangle signal to a trapezoid signal.

- to change the shape of an ADSR. You can clip the point where the Attack meets the Decay and modulate the audio VCA to produce a more impactful sound.

- and many more applications.

Unity amplification (what goes in equals what goes out) is when the potentiometer is at the 0 position.

+/-18dB is for line level signals so it is not optimal for microphone level signals.

Notes: This little module is an evolution of the LFO of the famous MS monophonic synth from the seventies, adapted to eurorack format.

Notes: A ring modulator based on logic chip but with a twist.

Magic Ring will produce sounds ranging from familiar ring mod sounds to complex evolving modulated timbres.

This ring modulator is really magic because it will work with sine, triangle, saw, ramp, etc. waves, but that is not everything.

The real magic is that it will change its timbre (spectral content) depending on the position of the two SHAPE pots and/or by modulating the CV inputs.

Notes: The VCZIII voltage controlled oscillator modules are Feedback's latest creation and are based on the VCOs of one of the most revered analogue instruments, the famous British pin matrix synth released in 1969.

The VCZIII series VCO is a result of the collaboration of Feedback modules and CMS-LAB and is a modern re-creation of those temperamental, organic and beautiful sounding VCOs from 1969 but with enhancements and adaptations to the Eurorack needs of 21st century.

There are two type of VCOs, VCZIII A based on VCO1 with variable shape SINE & SAW waveforms, VCZIII B based on VCO2 & VCO3 with variable TRIANGLE & PULSE waveforms.

Also, each VCO comes in two versions, one with normal fine tune potentiometers and one with precision multiturn potentiometer.
