Review: American record producer, singer and songwriter Van Mccoy is well known to anyone who attended Northern Soul parties at the Blackpool Mecca. He has plenty of rare groove and Northern Soul classics in his arenas and one of the most well-known is the opening tune on his album 'The Story.' It's called 'The Hustle' and was an international hit in 1975 that kick started this career. he has some 700 other credits to his name and produced for recording artists like Gladys Knight & the Pips, The Stylistics and Brenda & the Tabulations.
