Review: Hailing from Bristol. Trust Fund kicked off in earnest with a split single paired with scene darlings Joanna Gruesome and a tour with Los Campesinos, before their video for "Cut Me Out" made waves in the indie world. No One's Coming For Us" in all its messy, lo-fi glory, is their debut proper, and it paints an engaging picture of a band who use their lightness of touch to construct a collection of winsome pop songs that are both affecting and understated. Trust Fund, with charm and songwriting chops to spare, would appear to be a band on the brink of breaking way beyond the scene that launched them.
