Review: Deep Inspiration Show Records is a label out of Bielefeld, Germany with a focus on underground house music by artists with passion and soul from all over the world. Family Things Vol.4 - The Final Chapter features four artists providing a wide selection of moods and grooves. The ever reliable DJ Aakmael serves up his trademark style of deepness on 'Lakes', Barce gets that soulful and emotive Detroit sound going on with 'Universal Sound' and the Soul Renegades get seriously slo-mo (and lo-slung!) on 'Vibrations'. Finally, Allstarr Motomusic proves you can make a dope beat deep on the sensual 'I Care' (Radio Edit).

Review: Spanish label Mate is back with more excellent Deep House cuts from different corners of the scene. Vick Lavender repeats on the label this time with a vocal song feat. David Glen, simply magical. Italian finest Reekee which has just been released on Patric Scott's Sistrum presents a fusion of electronica and jazz with solid and elegant drums. Shaka from Switzerland offers us the groove and house vibes straight to the dancefloor. Nicola Alteri is The Mechanical Man, broken beat with sharp chords and R&B vocals combined perfectly. Don't let it get away!

Review: The Mechanical Man is something of a hero amongst deep house heads, so Toronto label Selections are rightly buzzed to have him on board. He opens up with a lively broken beat number lavished with a superb r&b vocal sample and sunny chords on 'Be Down.' He sinks into a more cuddly and smoky house groove on 'Let It Ride' and allows the pensive leads to take over as you head through the stars. 'The Night In The North Area' has a fresh bassline darting about underneath muted chords that bring a Detroit feel. Last of all is the soulful joy of 'You Know It's True', another one with a classic sample smartly worked into a scuffed-up deep house shuffle.
