Review: Celebrating its ten-year anniversary, seminal Los Angeles hardcore punk mob The Bronx originally took their sweet time on The Bronx IV, coming five years after the third installment and marking the band's longest gap between projects up until that point. Making a welcome resurgence in 2021 with volume VI, there's seemingly no better time to revisit an essential staple of one of hardcore's pioneering 21st century acts, with the album noted as showcasing the first true signs of a conscious step towards incorporating melody and vulnerability into their dynamite approach of cathartic energy.
