Review: Timeless Records strikes again with its 13th release, Part 1 & 2, assembling an Italian dream team that includes LNO, Lucretio, Omar Akhrif, Giammarco Orsini, and Cristian Sarde. This EP is a vibrant showcase of each artist's signature touch. LNO's track 'Down There' layers crisp 909 drums and spacey stabs atop a deep, undulating basslineiperfect for both introspective early hours and peak-time escalation. Lucretio and Omar Akhrif steer the ship into murkier waters with 'Flavours', where long, dark synths weave a haunting atmosphere, reminiscent of a suspenseful scene from a classic horror flick. Flip the record, and you'll find Giammarco Orsini's 'Twenty', which zigzags through wiggly, acid-tinged bass and sharp, precise drumwork, keeping listeners on their toes with its playful unpredictability. Cristian Sarde rounds out the release with 'Project', a track that lifts the energy with euphoric, rave-ready stabs and a relentless drive that keeps the momentum going. Together, these tracks make Part 1 a compelling narrative of sound.

Review: Wicked Bass welcome Lucretio & Omar Akhrif for its 20th release and a fittingly goto one it is too. 'Heartgirls' has a filthy groove with snappy hits and marching drum funk all run through with some wonky synth action. 'We Like Rain' is another full flavour and fleshy cut with rasping bass madness and militant drums. 'Almost Death' is another one with a stiff rhythm and slamming drums, this time with unsettling vocal stabs and wild acid lines. Darren Allen's Crimes Of The Future remix of the same tune is a melon twisting slice of dubbed out afterparty techno.
