  2. A Deeper Dub (6:42)
  3. Love Satisfaction (7:00)
Review: Loveface hits release number three with another serving of happy house music drenched in feel good samples and effects. Up first is the iconic vocal sample on 'Deep Love,' married to a glistening cosmic disco house beat. It's obvious but hugely effective. 'A Deeper Dub' then sinks down into deeper grooves, with US styled drums, lo-fi pads and a kinky sense of funk. Last of all, the most elastic and loose of the lot is 'Love Satisfaction,' with its diva vocals and darting chords lighting up the skies.

  1. Tell Me (7:19)
  2. Something (dub) (7:19)
  3. Larry's Groove (6:50)
Review: If you're looking for authentic, '80s style remixes with a nu-disco twist, the recently launched De-Mixes series from mysterious producer(s) Loveface should hit the spot. DJs fell head over heels for the series' debut EP, whose versions of Whitney Houston and Crystal Waters tracks were rather good, and we've no doubt they'll love this sequel too. Opener 'Tell Me' is another colourful, synth-heavy and polished revision of an '80s-era synth-soul gem, while 'Something (Dub)' turns the same source material into an echoing, bass-heavy dancefloor dub of the kind that Paul Simpson and Larry Levan did so well. Speaking of Mr Levan, some of his trademark synthesizer flourishes can be found on flipside disco-funk-goes-80s boogie number 'Larry's Groove', a sample-rich affair that packs serious dancefloor punch.
