Olivier Romero gets dark and deep with his menacing 'Shout The Killer,' Josh Baker's 'Can Anybody Help' then gets more upbeat and party-ready with its silky pads and upright kicks, while Cosenza explores a raw and percussive tech house vibe with busy lead that zips about the mix. It's pure Detroit house cruising with the closer from Camilo Gil & ONE Plus. Happy birthday to this fine label and here's to many effective more EPs like this one.

The artist's name might be an indicator of its influences; Cosenza is a town in Italy, known for its picturesque scenery and thriving culture. Equally, the Italotrance influence is felt on this track, with short staccato synth stabs and quirky bass loops resounding across its two sides. The label itself crops up on a remix on the B, for an equally beguiling, rollicking slice of loopage.
