  1. Mind Blank (8:43)
  2. Works On Sunday (vinyl only) (7:47)
  3. Works On Sunday (Enzo Siragusa & Seb Zito remix) (6:44)
Review: Moscow Records boss Archie Hamilton appears this time on Enzo Siragusa's Fuse London imprint with these slices of rolling, Latin-infused tech-house for the beach party. This is the kind of stuff that lovers of Mindshake and Rawthentic will be all over. First up "Mind Blank" brings the tough yet sultry attitude that you could imagine playing peak time at Amnesia. "Works On Sunday" takes the tempo down a notch or two for something more suited to the afterhours, but just as sexy. There's also a remix of this on the flip by none other than label boss Siragusa with Seb Zito keeping the afterhours vibe intact but with a druggier, minimal take on things.

  1. Driven To Distraction (7:52)
  2. Telegram (7:44)
  3. Channelled (vinyl Only) (7:43)
Review: Moscow Records boss Archie Hamilton is a long time friend of the FUSE London family, having previously contributed to a number of releases. Driven To Distraction, though, is his first FUSE outing since 2015. Interestingly, there's quite a bit of surprising variety amongst the three tracks; compare, for example, the shuffling tech-house grooves and flamenco guitars of B-side "Channelled", with the title track's bouncy, deep house/acid house fusion. "Telegram", where wilder TB-303 acid lines and dubbed-out riffs ride an undulating, late night groove, is also rather nifty. In other words, it's a solid EP containing tracks tailor-made for different dancefloor situations.

  1. Rich Nxt - "Badass" (6:55)
  2. Odd & Rossko - "Jabba The Hut" (8:06)
  3. Archie Hamilton - "Cirrus" (6:44)
  4. Sam Bellis - "Solstrole" (7:12)
Review: The FUSE London crew are back everyone, look out! Bringing the sound of their legendary daytime raves to us again and getting straight down to business on Enzo Siragusa's third edition of 5 are label mainstays Rich NxT (with the rolling and adrenalised "Badass") and the always impressive OdD aka Damian Daley & Danny Dixon joined by newcomer Rossko (making his production debut) on the rolling hypnotism of "Jabba The Hut". On the flip is Moscow Records boss Archie Hamilton (another mainstay of the label) with the woozy and tripped out after hours deepness of "Cirrus" and the Deep End Soundsystem affiliated Sam Bellis with the gutsy acid driven "Solstrole".

  1. Playdem (7:13)
  2. Shimmering (vinyl Only) (7:55)
Review: With such a heavyweight trio of tech-house talents involved, you'd expect this surprise studio hook-up between Enzo Siragusa, Archie Hamilton and Subb-An to be rather good. Predictably, both tracks hit the spot. A-side "Playdem" hits all the right notes, with the experienced threesome wrapping creepy chords, jaunty piano motifs and carefully chosen spoken word snippets around a fireside-warm bassline and snappy, handclap-heavy machine drums. The fun continues on flipside "Shimmering", a ludicrously loose and bass-heavy roller blessed with deep and trippy electronics and just the right of late night funk. Really, though, it's the weightiness of the sub-bass that hits home hardest.

  1. Mike Trend - "Marlin Monroe"
  2. Patrice Meiner & Archie Hamilton - "Lo Slung"
  3. VID & Cumsecade - "Totidarunu"
  4. Ferro - "Module"
Review: A label still in its infancy and carving out its sound, Dutch label Karton brings forth a selection of fresh faces with a spirit of adventure in their take on deep house, favouring DJ Qu style hypnotism over anything too smooth and safe. Mike Trend concocts a tense and immersive sound world through his samples, while at the same time working an effective loop ethic into the organic melee. Patrice Meiner and Archie Hamilton have a more focused drum workout on their hands, maximising on tonal hits of percussion for a stripped down tool, but VID & Cumsacde soon plunge back into the murky depths of haunting melodic content, economy of production and subtlety favoured over showboating. Ferro rounds things off with a minimal shuffler that bumps on a Perlon-ready funk.
