On this second, more expansive sampler for his forthcoming album Spaces & Places, Kerri Chandler treats us to tracks inspired by - and by the wonders of mobile recording technology, produced inside - clubs including Dublin's District 8, Glasgow institution Sub Club, Lux of Lisbon and NYC's Output. Of course, the standard is uniformly high throughout - it's classic Chandler from start to finish - but our picks of a very fine bunch include the soulful piano house shimmer of 'Change Your Mind', the thrusting, bass-heavy pump of 'Subbie (Rattle The Subbie Mix)', the effortlessly slick and soulful 'Tenacity (Full Vocal Mix)' and the ludicrously sub-heavy snap of 'See The Light (Dub)'. To borrow an old cliche, this is very much, 'all killer, no filler'.

As part of the 2016 Ghent Film Festival, the first ever 'greatest hits' album for Ryuichi Sakamoto's soundtrack work was released. This retrospective LP compiles the best selections from the entirety of his career, from Merry Christmas Mr. Lawrence to The Revenant. Now reissued 5 years later by Silva Screen, the album sees a wider, exclusive white vinyl edition, capturing the swelling pangs endemic to Sakamoto's music for screen.
Satin Jackets - Hidden Treasures EP
After their superb debut album Panorama Pacifico just over a year ago, we have been big fans of Satin Jackets. Now they finally come back in a big way with this glorious new EP on home label Eskimo out of Belgium. Once again they set their sights on breezy cosmic grooves with a range of global influences. 'Hundred Fifty Up' is a perfect sundown tune that will shift the mood of the party from playful to more locked in. 'Sassa & Back' then layers up midnight chords and wavy grooves with warm and enveloping sub-bass and 'Little Airplanes' brings a celestial vibe and falsetto vocal coos. 'Levante' is one to lay back and soak up while gazing at the clear blue sky.

Baldo - Groove Radiance
Baldo is the Barcelona-based tech house producer who helms labels like Neovinyl, BLD Tape, Curated By Time and Physical Education. It's the latter he returns to with this latest drop, the springy, bouncy Groove Radiance 12". 'Hotplay' leads the way with synths that might well take you back to the early days of electro house in the mid 00s, which Paramida then steams up good n' proper with their 'Hotpants' remix. '1998' keeps things juicy and jumping on the flip, slipping tiny slithers of breakbeat and acid into the mix for Liquid Earth to have a lot of fun remixing into a rolling trip monster.

Garrett David - The Dirty Work
Say hello to Global Swing a new label which says, "We present to you a vision of the future, informed by the past, for the here and now." It kicks off with a head turning, foot tapping new EP from Garrett David that joins the dots between plenty of classy electronic styles without paying too much heed to any in particular. 'Emergency' (feat Simone Green) bounces nicely with an old school house vocal that will bring good vibes to the floor. There is a similarly feel-good energy to 'Game Over' with its infectious drum skips and 'Watch Dis' then zones you out on nice balmy pads and crunchy drums.

Ufo / Sohrab / Dj N4 / Fasme - All Possible Futures EP
As most of us know, trance and electro have made a comeback, and we're more than pleased to usher on the name of its lesser-known fusion microgenre, electrance. EYA returns with a four-artist VA mining the outer reaches of electrance, charting new bits from Danish duo UFO, electrifying producer Sohrab, and solo artists DJ N4 and Fasme. Banging, breezy and focus-locking, perfect for both mid-floor zoneouts and moments of connection.
Penza Penza - Neanderthal Rock (mono)
Kiko Navarro / Concha Buika - Sonando Contigo
Balearic house maestro Kiko Navarro has a long and winding career through funky house which has graced the likes of Pacha, BBE, Wonderwheel and many more besides. He inaugurates his Afroterraneo label (named after his 2020 album) with a glossy vocal cut draped in all the feel good style points he's made his own over more than three decades. As well as the original mix, Navarro also offers up a clubbier rework for those who want to take the party deeper. On the flip the mighty Kerri Chandler offers up a signature slice of warm, mellifluous New Jersey gear and Tuccillo slows things right down with a backroom diversion that could well be the standout joint on this sparkling 12".
