Hidden Sequence returns, this time to kick off a new label Magistrate, and hot on the heels of their quick-to-sell out 'Silent Roots' last year. This fresh EP seamlessly bridges classic 70s Jamaican dub with modern, bass-heavy and dubwise delights, starting with 'Isms & Schisms'. The horns are brilliantly inviting as are the low ends which have been well worked on a vast desk and come packed with echo and effects. 'Magistrates Dub' is an immediately infectious skank that shifts into a deep, dub-heavy exploration and unites past and present dub influences.

One of the most legendary female producers in history of electronic music brings out her sixth solo album - not to mention her numerous seminal recordings as part of Throbbing Gristle and Chis & Cosey - and the first in three years. 2t2 is an intimate yet electrifying statement, a dualistic journey through rhythmic propulsion and meditative introspection across nine tracks entirely composed, performed and produced solely by Cosey herself. With 2t2, she expolores personal loss and global upheavalm transforming them into a defiant sonic odyssey, weaving raw energy and introspective depth together. The beat-driven tracks pulse with kinetic urgency, echoing her industrial and electronic roots, while the ambient passages invite deep contemplation. Lead single 'Stound' exemplifies this balanceiCosey's overtone chanting evokes resilience and catharsis, grounding the record in both personal and universal strength. 'Threnody' pays tribute to Delia Derbyshire and Andy Christian, weaving echoes of past creative dialogues into Cosey's present explorations. This exciting new compilation is a richly layered celebration of reggae's instrumental foundations. The second chapter in the Roots Architects project, this dub album gathers over 50 of Jamaica's most revered session musicians to breathe new life into rhythms rooted in reggae's golden era. Produced by Swiss keyboardist Mathias Liengme and dubbed by Roberto Sanchez, the record is a journey into the sonic textures of Kingston's legendary studios during the late 70s. Each track pulses with the timeless craftsmanship of players like Lloyd Parks, Fil Callender and Earl "Chinna" Smith. The dub treatments are both spacious and inventive, recalling the spiritual haze and echo-drenched brilliance of King Tubby and Lee Scratch Perry at their peak. Sanchez handles the desk with deep respect and balances fidelity with creativity. From Dub 'Til Now is a historical tribute of reggae's enduring history.

UK dub punk innovator, ambient dub pioneer and sometime super producer Youth revisits one of his most expansive projects with a remastered vinyl edition of this offering, originally released under the Dub Trees banner in 2016. It's a vast, cinematic journey-eleven dubbed-out voyages plus a bonus track-where psydub, spiritual jazz, and ancient modal drones converge in exploratory motion. The 'Distant Green Shore Dub' of 'Return To The River Ganges' sets the tone: booming sub-bass, glistening tabla, and warped pads swirling like incense smoke. 'Mediolana (Ambrosirus Dub)' and 'Dhaka Corinthia (Gergeovic Dub)' fold Mediterranean and Bengali textures into tripped-out spatial frameworks, while 'Voyage of the Pytheas (Pagan Dub)' and 'Delfic Tongue (Hercynian Forest Dub)' veer into Weatherall-esque terrain-part kosmische, part misty-eyed ritual. Galician pipes, bansuri, tubaphone and Celtic harp all shimmer through the mix, filtered through Youth's dense, tactile production. This is folk memory via aux cable-pagan futurism that's both grounded and astral.

It's been a while since we heard from Seven Davis Jr, and we guess this new album is why. The US house maverick brought all new edge and vocal style to his beats when he first broke through, and following "an unexpectedly bad year" after his last album Stranger Than Fiction, he channels more darkness and aggression into this record. It's still built on house rhythms but they're raw, slamming and make no concessions, his vocals often sounding almost paranoid as they lurk in the shadows between the dusty kicks and distorted, grimy basslines. A marvellous return.

Ukraine's Yan Cook has been at the forefront of techno in Ukraine for some time. He works in the dubbier end of the spectrum and brings more great weight to this one on his label, Cooked. 'Equinox' is an early evening mood builder that twists and turns through smeared synths and grainy lo-fi grooves. 'Syzygy' is more loopy and hard-hitting with mind-melting percussion over the cavernous low end. 'Monsoon' is as urgent as a call to action from a battalion leader on the front line and 'Headspin' is just that - a more frenzied and wonky cerebral workout for the dizzy 5 am sessions.

Cosmic disco and spaced out Brit funk and pop fusion outfit Jamiroquai celebrates 20 years of their landmark Dynamite with a new limited edition reissue of what was their sixth studio album. Originally released in 2005, the album fused their signature funk, disco and electronic flair into smash radio hits like 'Feels Just Like It Should,' 'Seven Days in Sunny June' and '(Don't) Give Hate a Chance.' This anniversary edition comes pressed on exclusive coloured vinyl and also included is a replica promo CD sampler featuring pre-release single versions, an extended mix of the title track, and 'Black Devil Car.'

Roman Flugel's 2004 banger 'Geht's Noch?' is a cheeky electro anthem that became a schoolyard ringtone staple, and now it is back for its 21st anniversary on Running Back. The original was part of a Cocoon compilation and this reissue features remixes that pay homage to its playful mood. Luca Lozano's ' 'Gehts Garage Remix' introduces UK funky elements, Peder Mannerfelt's version builds dramatic tension around the iconic riff, and Aasthma delivers a colourful, anime-inspired take. EDM bigwig Steve Angello brings some signature oversized electro maximalism to his version.
