 Add to cart
More than 10 in stock $73.21
Cat: 633694 Rel: 05 Dec 16

Performance USB/MIDI pad & keyboard controller bundled with software package - LIMITED EDITION WHITE
Notes: Go mobile without losing control. The new MPK mini is an ultra-compact keyboard controller designed for the traveling musician and the desktop producer. With an array of hardware controls, MPK mini lets you record, compose, and perform with virtual instruments, effect plugins, and DAWs whenever inspiration strikes. It features 25 velocity-sensitive synth-action keys, a 4-way thumbstick for dynamic pitch and modulation manipulation, 8 backlit velocity-sensitive MPC-style pads, and 8 assignable Q-Link knobs. Plus, two banks expand the number of MPC-style pads to 16 for extended creative capabilities.

MPK mini includes all the essentials for quickly laying down and expanding upon your musical ideas. Dedicated Octave Up and Down buttons increase the keyboard to the full melodic range, and a sustain pedal input is built in for expressive playing and recording. An onboard arpeggiator with adjustable resolution, range, and modes makes it easy to create intricate melodic lines with little effort. Plus, MPC Note Repeat and Full Level allow users to access genuine technologies from Akai Professional's line of MPC workstations.

For maximum portability, MPK mini requires no software drivers or external power adapter for operation. It supports plug-and-play connectivity, features USB-MIDI, and powers up with a single USB connection to your Mac or PC. Four memory banks enable you to store hardware/software presets for quick and easy setting up of your computer and MPK mini.

MPK mini comes bundled with professional production software and virtual instruments for immediate music creation. Hybrid 3, by AIR Music Tech, is a high-definition synthesizer that can create anything from fat, retro synth sounds to edgy modern leads and everything in between. SONiVOX's Wobble is an electronic music grime synthesizer that features two independent channels of spectral morphing synthesis with harmonic controls, individual filtering, and discrete LFO controls. MPC Essentials, a groove/beat production and sample-triggering software, lets producers and musicians incorporate genuine MPC workflow into their DAW of choice and extends the power of MPK mini by adding up to 8 pad banks and 4 samples and insert effects per pad. MPC Essentials also runs in standalone mode, so you can start making music without a DAW.

Unlock the true potential of your MPK mini with the MPK mini MIDI Editor software. This MIDI editor is a powerful preset management software that lets MPK Mini users customize their hardware and software setup on their Mac or PC. Create and tweak presets for your favorite virtual instruments, plugins, and DAWs, then store them on your MPK mini. You'll spend less time setting up your gear and more time doing what you love - making great music.

We are the only company that use the same Class-A mic pre design throughout our entire product range, whether you're in the studio with an Audient console or on the road with iD14, you're always guaranteed the same world class Audient sound. Developed by design legend David Dearden and optimised over 18 years of refinement, our mic pre is used by thousands of professional studios around the world. With its versatile nature and smooth tone, the iD14 will quickly become your 'go to' mic pre.

Brilliance on the inside enables brilliance on the outside:
iD14 provides you with high performance AD-DA converters from Burr Brown, the leaders in converter technology. Quality in the analogue stages of design comes from years of experience as analogue console designers, and when coupled with outstanding converter technology it enables you to hear audio as it's supposed to sound. The importance of converters should never be underestimated. Experience audio the Audient way. Brilliance on the inside enables brilliance on the outside.

Simply scroll to control:
Get hands on control of your software with iD14's ScrollControl. With a touch of a button iD14's volume encoder becomes a virtual scroll wheel that allows you to adjust DAW hosts, plug-in parameters, iD14's mixer app and even scroll through your iTunes library - just like you're adjusting a piece of hardware. Wherever your mouse pointer hovers, the iD knob can scroll to control!

Plug in and be inspired:
As well as offering you 2 channels of mic pre, iD14 has a harmonically rich JFET D.I input. Designed to replicate the input stage of a classic valve amplifier, you can plug your guitar, bass, keyboard or drum machine straight in and start recording instantly.

Customise your control surface:
It gets even better! When not using the virtual scroll wheel, the iD button can be assigned to control iD14's monitoring features. Following in the footsteps of its critically acclaimed big brother iD22, we've still included DIM, CUT, Polarity Reverse, Mono Sum, Talkback and Cue Mix monitoring, all of which can be assigned to the iD button.

Grows with your needs:
Need to track drums? No problem! As your system grows, iD14 can be expanded via the optical input connector, supporting both ADAT and S/PDIF. Enabling you to expand up to ten inputs via an eight-channel mic pre, such as the ASP800.

Discover just how simple it can be:
We understand the need to keep things simple and iD14's mixer app was designed with that in mind. Whether you're creating low latency cue mixes or utilising the flexible monitor control, iD14 tightly integrates the hardware and software making the recording process easy. Enabling you to concentrate on what's really important - the music.

Quality deserves protection:
iD14 has been designed to last, from its all-metal construction, hand finished aluminium knobs and high grade component selection, iD14 will stand up to countless late nights in the studio and days on the road.

If you need to track drums or simply need more inputs you can expand up to ten inputs via an eight-channel mic pre such as our ASP880.

You can't unhear quality:
During iD22's development we discussed ways in which we could showcase iD22's versatility in a variety of genres. We were so confident you could make a release quality recording with iD22 we decided to get out in the field and record three different artists varying in style. Listen to the result for yourself...

Integrate your outboard:
Two fully balanced insert points enable you to bring your outboard gear in from the cold and prior to conversion. Insert your favourite compressors or EQs and start creating vocal chains that rival the very best. The insert return also gives you direct access to the analogue to digital converters - providing the cleanest signal path possible, making it great for print-backs or integrating outboard line level sources.

Customise your control surface:
iD22 has a range of incredibly flexible console style monitor control functions such as mono, polarity, dim, cut, speaker select, talkback & cue mix monitoring. We know how important it is to focus on the music and to make tracking as simple as possible we added three programmable function keys. No more time spent searching for software controlled features, just assign the monitoring functions you need to the three hardware function keys and allow the creativity to flow. Real hardware control at your fingertips!

Plug in and be inspired:
As well as offering you 2 channels of mic pre, iD22 has a harmonically rich JFET D.I input. Designed to replicate the input stage of a classic valve amplifier, you can plug your guitar, bass, keyboard or drum machine straight in and start recording instantly.

Powerful sound:
The Byron BT in-ear headphones offer an exceptionally detailed music experience on your mobile device. Strong, consistent sound with controlled bass ensures absolute listening enjoyment and epitomises our highly musical standards. Look forward to in-ear audio excellence.

Wireless transmission:
The Byron BT is the first wireless headset in our range. Music and phone calls are transmitted via Bluetooth. This gives you new flexibility with our usual excellent sound. The use of Qualcomm aptXr codecs ensures top-quality Bluetooth transmission. The acoustic transducers for right and left ear are connected to one another simply by means of a short cable. The earphones can be connected very simply and wirelessly to your mobile device using the Bluetooth connection. Tangled headphone cables are therefore a thing of the past.

Hours-long music enjoyment:
A high-performance rechargeable battery supplies the headsets with energy for up to 7.5 hours. A voice prompt informs you of the current charge level. Any USB port can be used for charging, for example using a smartphone charger or laptop. The appropriate charging cable is included and fully charges the battery in the Byron BT within two hours.

Microphone and remote:
The Byron BT headset is equipped with a 3-button remote control and a hands-free microphone for use on Apple and Android devices. All playback functions can therefore be controlled with ease - without having to take the smartphone or tablet from your pocket. You can use the remote control to pause the music as required, skip forward to the next title or adjust the volume. Thanks to the integrated hands-free microphone, not only can the Byron BT headset be used for listening to music but also for phone calls. Calls can be answered and ended with ease on all popular smartphones.

High wearing comfort:
A perfect fit is essential to provide full sound quality and ensure enhanced listening comfort also over longer periods of time. The Byron BT headset therefore comes with replaceable silicone eartips in three sizes. You can replace these small silicone plugs yourself with ease and choose them in a size that fits your ear.

Moreover, we have also taken into account the fact that some people are very active while wearing their headsets: Two ear hooks are included as bundled accessories for this purpose. The silicone loops are assembled in addition to the normal attachments and nestle into the earshell while wearing. The earphones thus always fit perfectly into the auditory canal.

Supplied accessories:
- Silicone eartips in three different sizes
- 1 pair of ear hooks
- Micro-USB charging cable

Linear frequency response. Zero coloration. Transparency. Headroom. To hear the truth, you need reference speakers that offer up. Your studio monitors deliver, but what about when you're on the go? What if there was a reference monitor that could free you from the confines of the studio walls and provide you the truth in your music no matter where you are - mixing in a small makeshift recording space, mastering in a hotel room, working in your own studio, or composing on the go? Wouldn't that be sweet?

Now, with iLoud Micro Monitor, you can hear the truth in your music anytime and everywhere. The smallest active studio reference monitoring system in the world, iLoud Micro Monitor provides you with ultra-accurate true linear frequency response with no coloration of sound, and can do so in every listening environment. Sound too good to be true? Read on...

iLoud Micro Monitors are two extremely portable, high-performance bi-amped speakers that deliver a combined 50W RMS of power for superior bass, plenty of headroom and an expansive stereo image. Whether you're recording, editing, mixing, or mastering audio, iLoud Micro Monitor ensures your mix will translate well to the huge variety of consumer devices - headphones, home stereo systems, gaming consoles, car audio systems, TVs, and other listening systems.

With iLoud Micro Monitor, you will hear the truth in your music no matter whether you're mixing, mastering or just listening to your favourite tunes at home. And best of all, it offers its portability, power and flexibility at a price that's affordable for everyone.

A legacy of power:
When the original iLoud Bluetooth speaker was released, it set a new standard for portable power and sonic accuracy. iLoud Micro Monitor is a natural evolution of that design, and just like its highly popular predecessor, it offers a completely new and unmatched portable sonic experience.

Its two speakers are powered by ultra-efficient class D power amplifiers that push a combined 50 W RMS of power. Each speaker sports a 3/4" silk dome tweeter, a 3" paper-cone performance woofer and a large-flaring front-firing bass reflex port. Thanks to these features, it's able to deliver pleasing high frequencies, an exceptionally "open" midrange and a solid and controlled low end. Simply put, iLoud Micro Monitor's sound is so good that it's nearly inconceivable for a speaker system of this size and at this price point.

Sonically Transparent Monitoring System:
iLoud Micro Monitor sounds amazing and real. But why? Well, a part of that is due to its internal 56-bit digital signal processor (DSP). This DSP is responsible for things like taking care of the frequency and phase response of the monitor as well as also controlling the dynamic range so that the drivers are always controlled. It also acts as a digital crossover that allows for invisibly smooth transitions between the drivers themselves.

Adjustable audio:
You're bound to come across all sorts of listening environments when you're on the go. Most speakers can't handle this kind of variety, but iLoud Micro Monitor can. Its internal DSP is controllable thanks to three dedicated EQ switches. You get switches for bass and treble as well as a "DESKTOP" compensation switch - this lets you switch between a "free field" and "desktop" setup effortlessly.

You can also position iLoud Micro Monitor at two angles of inclination. With these features you can optimize your listening experience to suit the characteristics of the room you're working in.

Get connected:
You can easily use iLoud Micro Monitor with all your favourite gear.

Sending an audio signal to it couldn't be easier. It has inputs for both RCA and 1/8" connectors, and it can also be paired via Bluetooth to any Bluetooth-enabled device.

With all of its inputs, you'll always be able to use its ultra-linear sound to monitor your music no matter where you are or what device you're using.

The perfect laptop monitoring companion:
Reference monitor sound anytime and everywhere - iLoud Micro Monitor makes it possible.

Its two speakers make for one incredibly small and portable system that delivers exceptional sound in any environment.

Their compact size make for the perfect monitoring system to use while traveling with your laptop.

They easily pack up into a gig bag or backpack so you can use their phenomenal sound anywhere.

More than 10 in stock $44.55
Cat: 631627 Rel: 07 Nov 16

USB device that stores licenses for iLok-enabled software
Notes: How does it work and why do I need one:
The iLok is a special USB device that holds your licenses for iLok-enabled software. Software publishers use the iLok to provide secure protection for their software. When you run their iLok-enabled software, it looks for the software license on your attached iLok.

The Third Generation iLok:
Smaller, faster, and with even greater capacity, the new iLok is here! The Third Generation iLok is fully compatible with software created for the second generation iLok. With its smaller form factor and metal body, it is more robust and less prone to casual damage.

iLok Benefits:
- It's portable - you can authorize your software anywhere it is installed. At home, work, or at a remote location, you can keep your software licenses with you, not on your computer.
- It's convenient and cross-platform - Store your Mac and Windows iLok-enabled software licenses all on a single iLok. A Third Generation iLok can hold over 1500 licenses.
- Worry Free - Your licenses are on the safest, most secure solution: the iLok. With Zero Downtime protection available, you've got 24/7 peace of mind.

Managing your licenses has never been so easy. Using the iLok License Manager application, you can:
- View what is on your iLok(s)
- Download new licenses from participating software publishers
- Manage your licenses, including moving them between iLoks within your account and from your iLoks back to your account
- Transfer licenses to other iLok.com accounts

What do I need in order to use my iLok?

In order to use an iLok, you'll need at least 3 things:
- Your iLok
- A license for the iLok-protected software you want to run (you'll need to have the publisher place this license in your account or send you an Activation code)
- The software that is iLok protected (usually a download from the Publisher's or retailer's website, we do not host those on this site)

Anything else?

Your iLok will need special License Support software in order to talk to the protected software. Your protected software most likely installed this special software, but you can always get the latest version of this software by installing the iLok License Manager.

Kilpatrick Audio Carbon Sequencer & Performance System
 Add to cart
 6 in stock $739.56
Cat: 619417 Rel: 05 Dec 16

Pattern-based sequencer, performance control system & USB interface
Notes: Sequencer, performance control system and USB interface:
Ever since the K4815 Pattern Generator module was released to great praise in 2010 we have been planning a follow-up product that would take the Pattern Generator concept to a whole new level. After five years of planning and exploration we are proud to present: CARBON
CARBON offers several distinct and powerful functions that will change the way you compose and perform.

Sequencer:
CARBON is primarily designed as a pattern-based sequencer. It has six tracks which can each hold 64 steps. Steps can be generated randomly, edited interactively, or recorded from a MIDI keyboard one step at a time, or in real-time while the sequencer is running. Polyphony and CC recording is supported so each step can contain chords or other performance data. The fun begins once you've got some notes playing back on a track. Choose a region to play back, say, the first 8 steps. The track will play those same 8 steps over and over. Now move to another track and record a new sequence. This sequence can be a different length, or play back at a different speed. It can even play backwards while the other sequence plays forwards.

Remix with Patterns and Scenes:
The real power of CARBON is how variations of sequences can be made. By simply turning the PATTERN control, different steps in the sequence can be enabled and disabled. The patterns will surprise and inspire you by creating new rhythms and motifs with a simple twist of a knob. These are all based on your original sequence and can be changed at any time. Adding in the concept of scenes lets you quickly switch between different parts of a song or different variations. Scenes can store the range of steps to play, the pattern, track mute state and a number of other parameters. Switching back and forth between scenes offers endless performance potential without ever missing a beat. The best part of the CARBON sequencer is that all the recording and editing can be done in real-time without ever stopping the sequencer.

Performance Powerhouse:
Do you fire up your DAW software in the studio to simply route MIDI signals from your keyboard controller to various instruments? Creating a session just to route MIDI is clunky and slow, and on stage requiring a computer can be a liability. The LIVE button allows live playing to any combination of outputs.

MIDI Switching / Routing System:
CARBON is a complete performance switching system allowing you to easily send your keyboard signal to MIDI and analog instruments. Two built-in MIDI outputs enable separate routing of clock and channel signals from each track. The analog section supports four CV/gate outputs plus reset and clock signals. Both monophonic and duo/polyphonic output types are supported. You can even send to multiple MIDI and analog instruments at the same time!

Keyboard Split:
Does your favourite keyboard controller lack a keyboard split function? It's never been easier to send MIDI where you want it. Send your left hand to one instrument and your right to another, or two others if you want. Quickly switch back to a single instrument across the entire keyboard at the touch of a button.

Arpeggiator:
A good arpeggiator has been the holy grail for electronic performers for decades. CARBON has a powerful internal arpeggiator which supports all the standard arp types plus loads more. Each of the six tracks in CARBON has a separate arp so you can make serious harmonic madness!
When the sequence is running the arp automatically syncs to the sequencer. When it's stopped the arp starts as soon as you press a key. Intelligent reload arp programming allows you time to change chords without losing a step.

USB MIDI Host:
Want to use a USB controller that lacks MIDI output ports? No problem! CARBON has a built-in USB host interface that will power your class-compliant MIDI device and allow you to use it to control CARBON or send MIDI or CV/gate signals to any device. You no longer need a computer or other dedicated box to use your favourite USB MIDI controller.

USB to MIDI and CV Interface:
Need to use your computer for bigger compositions? Don't worry, you don't have to disconnect CARBON. When plugged into a PC or Mac, CARBON becomes a powerful MIDI and CV interface. Use the control surface to run your DAW software. The display can also be controlled via MIDI. (open spec - future software / plugins required). All your instruments connected to the MIDI and analog CV ports can be used directly from your DAW software. The analog clock and reset outputs can also be used to drive analog clock-based gear from your DAW.

Korg KingKorg Analog Modelling Synthesizer (black)
 Add to cart
 2 in stock $879.64
Cat: 631798 Rel: 07 Nov 16

Full-fledged, 61-key analog modelling synthesizer designed for live performance
Notes: A new generation of modelling synthesizer that covers all synth sounds:
How you do imagine the synth sounds you want to use in a live performance or a recording? Do you think of favourite songs or admired artists, or freely imagine sounds within yourself? And can you create those sounds using your synth?

The KingKORG faithfully reproduces the ways in which the oscillator and filter of an analog synthesizer can change, giving you freedom to shape your sound. A diverse range of synth sounds can be covered by this single instrument.

The long-awaited black model arrives:
A stylish black model has arrived. The black panel with its array of parameter knobs expresses a reverence for classic instruments of history, and awakens the instincts of the keyboardist who wants to control the sound to their heart's content.

Newly designed panel layout allows intuitive operation:
The newly designed panel is organized into blocks that let you focus on the controls you need while editing. While reflecting the concept of an analog synthesizer's signal flow, KingKORG's front panel takes full advantage of today's technology.

For example, the oscillator section has its own dedicated display that shows the name of the currently selected algorithm. You can turn the dial located beside this display to see descriptive names, and push the dial to jump to the beginning of categories such as ANALOG or DWGS. The control knobs are assigned to the most effective and important parameters for each oscillator, letting you enjoy the unique feature of an analog synthesizer --- turning the knobs to transform the sound. There are also dedicated dials for each of the three master effects, making it easy to try out different effects and hear how they modify the sound. Since a self-luminous organic EL display is used, visibility is excellent even on a dimly lit stage or in direct sunlight.

Favorites function for convenience in live performance:
The Favorites function lets you recall frequently-used programs at a single touch. You can assign a total of 40 programs to the eight category favourite buttons for easy recall.

200 built-in preset programs:
KingKORG provides a diverse selection of 200 stage-ready preset programs organized into eight categories such as Synth, Lead, and Bass. There's a great selection of the staple sounds you need for live performance, including numerous PCM sounds for piano, electric piano, organ, and clavinet. Thanks to KingKORG's ability to emulate filters from classic synthesizers, you'll find familiar and authentic sounds that are perfect for playing your favourite classic and modern songs, along with new and inspiring sounds to broaden your horizons. There's also a user area for you to store 100 of your own sounds.

CV/GATE OUT jack lets you control the MS-20 or monotribe:
The CV/GATE OUT jack lets you use an analog signal to control a KORG MS-20 or monotribe. A dedicated cable is included, allowing you to use the keyboard of KingKORG to play the MS-20 mini or monotribe.

Support for librarian software that lets you manage programs:
You can manage programs on your computer simply by connecting KingKORG to your computer via a USB cable and using the librarian software. The librarian software can be downloaded at no charge from the Korg website or from the website of your local Korg distributor.

KRK Rokit RP5 G3 White Noise Active Studio Monitor Speaker (single, white with white cone)

KRK
Cat: 630367 Rel: 31 Oct 16

Studio-quality reference monitor designed for music producers & sound engineers - limited edition White Noise version
Notes: The exclusive KRK Generation 2 Rokit 5 monitor comes in a custom sleek white colour design. Show your dedication to one of the most popular mixing monitors for home studios with these custom coloured RP5 monitors. Loaded with the same great features like a front-firing bass port, soft-domed tweeter, and glass aramid composite cone, the G2 Rokit's offer a refined voicing and a new curved baffle that looks great, reduces diffraction and provides even better monitoring accuracy.

KRK's Rokit G2 (Generation 2) powered studio monitor delivers amazing performance and accuracy for the home or project studio at a very accessible price. The G2 Rokit has radically curved edges which virtually eliminate diffraction and provides a wider sweet spot. The Rokit G2 also features a great looking cabinet with a front-firing bass port glass-aramid composite woofer and soft-domed tweeters. Dual high-power amplifiers in each speaker and active crossovers provide smooth and accurate reproduction. The Rokit monitor has the most accurate response curve in its class ensuring that you hear all of the details in your mix.

No Pain With Gain:
Why compromise gain structure to achieve a comfortable listening level? As musicians and recording people themselves, KRK asked that question too. So each Generation 2 Rokit monitor comes with an Input Volume Control that provides an adjustable gain range from +6dB to -30dB. Just another way the Rokit lets you focus on your mix, and not on compatibility concerns.

Catch A Wave, For A 3D Mix:
Recessed tweeters may look the same, but they don't perform the same. KRK has designed a superior tweeter wave-guide for the Rokit monitor that provides optimal high frequency pattern control and focuses the sound outward, away from the cabinet. More conventional designs direct sound along the plane of the cabinet where waveform interaction can cause phase problems and increased diffraction. KRK knows a properly engineered high frequency wave-guide is a critical component to great sound, and one key to KRK's award winning performance.

You've Got Connections:
At KRK, the focus is your mix. But it doesn't stop at creating accurate monitors. KRK appreciates the need for monitors that not only sound great but work easily into your particular set up. That's why you'll find plenty of input options with your Rokit monitor, sure to accommodate any studio environment. So if it's RCA, quarter-Inch (balanced/unbalanced) or XLR inputs you require, Rockit has got you covered.

Even More Accurate Than Before:
KRK took a great monitor series and made it better. KRK's engineers and listening panel took the Generation 2 Rokits' speaker voicing to even more accurate levels. What you hear is what you are intended to hear, coloration is not part of the spec. This performance is brought to you by drivers that are custom-designed by KRKs world-class studio monitor engineering team, for clear, low-distortion performance.

Take Control:
While your Generation 2 Rokit leaves the factory voiced to demanding specs, KRK also knows that no two rooms "sound" the same. As such, each Rokit monitor comes equipped with a high-frequency level control. This feature provides specific adjustment of high frequency output most commonly affected by room acoustics. It's just one extra level of control that KRK gives you to ensure the most accurate mix for your particular room's acoustics.

Don't Be Square, Curves Ahead:
The Gen 2 Rockit studio monitor looks different, so it can sound better, and in a wider "sweet spot". Traditional rectangular speakers suffer from diffraction as sounds leaving the edge of the cabinet are reflected back into the original sound field, and at different time intervals. This phase distortion creates a "narrow" or "boxy" sound. The Generation 2 Rokit series eliminates this issue with radically engineered curved surfaces, so diffraction is virtually eliminated. Simply put, you'll get better sound in a wider area.

Let's Be Up Front:
Other monitors have ports on the back of the cabinet. These rear-firing ports tend to create bass coupling with walls and corners amplifying low frequency information, which will colour your mix. The KRK Generation 2 Rokit studio monitor's design includes front-firing ports, which are just the right shape and taper to reduce port turbulence. You'll appreciate the clean and accurate bass performance this approach delivers, even at high SPL's.

Power Up:
A great sounding monitor doesn't stop with a great cabinet and custom drivers. KRKs true bi-amplified amplifier system provides discrete low-distortion power for each driver. While the active crossover systems provide smooth and accurate frequency response, and again, accurate diffraction control.

Cat: 623420 Rel: 21 Nov 16

3 way active studio monitor with 8" woven Kevlar low-frequency driver, 5" woven Kevlar mid frequency driver and 1" silk dome tweeter - black
Notes: Introducing the M-Audio M3-8 Studio Monitor:

The state-of-the-art M3-8 studio monitor features an advanced and sophisticated design that gives you the clarity, power, and coverage to step your mixes up to the next level. Utilizing three individual class AB amplifiers, high quality low-, mid-, and hi-frequency drivers, and a precision-designed cabinet and baffle, the M3-8 delivers truly spectacular three-way sound with greater midrange detail, higher power-handling and broader sound coverage from the same compact cabinet size as a standard two-way monitor.

The result of all these innovations and thoughtful design touches is an outstanding studio monitor able to perform at a far higher level than the typical monitor even in the most critical listening environment. Whether you're mixing a dynamic 100-piece full orchestra, a full throttle rock band or even high-energy electronic music, your mixes will sound real, enabling you to make confident and precise adjustments to your recordings. That's what a great monitor is supposed to do for you. Your mix is only as good as your monitor. Don't settle for less than the best. Choose the M-Audio M3-8.

In-Line MF/HF Design:

The midrange and tweeter are mounted in-line with each other (the tweeter is actually mounted at the apex of the midrange) at precisely the same point in space. Doing so means the sound of the two drivers integrates perfectly, without the "time/arrival distortion" of conventionally-spaced drive units. Instead, with the M-Audio M3-8, the all-important midrange and treble information reaches your ears at precisely the same time, delivering the ultimate in detail and clarity.

Kevlar Low and Mid-Frequency Drivers:

Kevlarr is an ideal driver diaphragm material: Incredibly strong, stiff and light (it's used in military body armour!). We use it in both the M3-8's 8" woofer and the 5" midrange, giving those units an incredibly fast transient attack, excellent sensitivity and great resistance to cone flexing and resonant breakup at high power levels. Loud, strong and fast - perfect monitor characteristics.

Silk Dome Tweeter with Ferro-Fluid Cooling:

The 1" woven silk dome tweeter uses Ferro-fluid voice coil cooling for added reliability at studio power levels and this tweeter imparts virtually no harshness or "listening fatigue," as is often the case with metal dome tweeters. This is extremely important to the recording engineer who spends hours in the studio listening to their mixes, relying on their unfatigued ears to make subtle adjustments.

Custom Waveguide:

The tweeter is mounted in an integrated waveguide, which precisely focuses and directs the treble energy into the listening field, ensuring a solid and stable sonic image and minimizing the random acoustic "scatter" that would distract from properly evaluating the recording's playback.

Precision-Designed Baffle and Cabinet:

The attractive baffle is chamfered at the top edges to aid in dispersion and reduce audibly-destructive edge diffraction. We've also optimized the cabinet's internal bracing to ensure that the drivers have a solid, vibration-free platform from which to launch their sound, and we've used advanced computer software to determine and calibrate the port's characteristics for the best possible bass response.

Three Individual Class AB Amplifiers:

Three individual internal amplifiers provide power to each of the three speaker elements. These amplifiers are specifically tailored to the drivers they are matched with, for smooth operation and system synergy that is virtually impossible to equal using outboard amplifiers and passive speakers. A total of 220 watts of Class AB amplification empowers the M3-8 with ample headroom for even the loudest mixes. The carefully-selected crossover points divide the frequency spectrum into very precise bands so that each individual driver only handles the exact frequency range where it is most accurate.

Adjustable Three-Band EQ:

The powerful three-band (LF, MF, HF) EQ gives you the flexibility to shape the sound to match your listening environment. The switchable low-cut filter is perfect for tailoring the M3-8's bass response for use with a subwoofer, like M-Audio's BX Subwoofer.

The Socksbox MK3 is the consequent onwards development of the perfect TB-303 Clone. We have improved the production flow of this model and switched the production to exclusive 100% German hand made quality. The difference between old MK models and the MK3 is just aesthetics.

This fact will guarantee you a much better sound by full discrete analogue signal processing. We also guarantee that our chief technician will calibrate each unit personally and by hand to sound like a real TB-303. We will not release a unit for shipping before it sounds like the "real thing".

Additionally we have improved the quality of the pots, encoders, switches by only using components from the best suppliers, most of them from Germany.

The best 303-Clone ever made! Based on the original x0xb0x by Limor Fried, Adafruit Industries

The x0xb0x (Adafruit edition) was available as a kit that includes all parts necessary to build a x0xbox: PCB, case with CNC machined faceplate, components, buttons and knobs, AC adaptor, pre-programmed microcontroller, and (of course) poorly xeroxed assembly manual... You supplied the sweat & tears.

Nektar Impact LX25+ USB MIDI Controller Keyboard With Bitwig 8 Track Software
 Add to cart
 4 in stock $83.83
Cat: 627704 Rel: 05 Dec 16

25-key velocity sensitive MIDI keyboard featuring 8 LED illuminated, velocity sensitive pads
Notes: The Impact LX25+ MIDI controller is compact and portable yet jam-packed with intelligent and expressive performance control not even available on many premium products. Ever wanted a controller that hooks up automatically to your DAW? Impact LX25+ does exactly that. Nektar DAW Integration custom designed for Bitwig, Cubase, Digital Performer, FL Studio, GarageBand, Logic, Nuendo, Reaper, Reason, Sonar and Studio One takes Impact LX25+ way beyond functionality normally offered by a USB MIDI controller keyboard. With Impact LX25+ the hard work is done, so you can focus on your creativity.

IMPACT LX25+ CONTROLLER KEYBOARD
The 25 note velocity sensitive keyboard is a synth action with a medium tension. The full-size, piano-style keys are covered to protect against dirt and dust while also complementing the Impact LX design. With 4 velocity curves gradually increasing in dynamics there is a choice for any playing style. If you don't need velocity, 3 fixed velocity levels cater for a consistent output. Octave and transpose buttons as well as pitch bend and modulation wheels are within reach, so you can quickly shift the keyboard up or down as needed, or apply additional articulation with the wheels.

OCTAVE & TRANSPOSE BUTTONS
There is more to the 4 Octave & Transpose buttons than meets the eye. 4 functions are selectable on the fly so you can make important changes at any time, even while you play. A key combination makes assignment quick and easy. Choices include sending out MIDI Program Messages, change the Global MIDI Channel or select any of Impact LX25+'s 5 user presets with either the Octave or Transpose buttons.

CONTROL CENTER
A 30mm fader and 8 pots are at the centre of the Impact LX25+ control panel. Each control is fully programmable to send any MIDI CC message for use with hardware or software MIDI products. Used with Nektar DAW integration, the controls take on a life of their own, providing flexible pre-mapped DAW control giving you the best of both worlds. Control settings can be stored in any of the 5 Impact LX25+ presets for recall at any time. And if you switch Null on, any parameter values are stored when you change presets so you avoid parameter jumping.

PADS
For groove and beat creation, Impact LX25+'s 8 velocity sensitive pads make life easy. Calibrated to trigger at a light touch, finger drumming is suddenly well within reach with a nice and even velocity response. Each pad can be assigned any MIDI note number or MIDI cc message for use as MIDI trigger or toggle buttons. But the best part is the "Pad Learn" feature, which allows you to just select a pad, play the note or drum sound you want on the keyboard and assignment is done. No complex menus for a task that's essential to getting the most out of your pads. Assignments are stored over power cycling so you don't lose your settings when you switch your system off for the night. In addition, 4 pad map locations can store your settings for future recall.

The 4 colour LED illumination not only looks good but also indicate which pad map is currently loaded and can even tell you which type of MIDI message each pad sends. With Nektar DAW Integration, the pads are automatically mapped in for example Reason and Bitwig.. The two Clips and Scenes buttons are used in Bitwig to trigger...., Clips and Scenes. In Reason, a clever control of Reason's location points create a similar experience with scenes triggering of any Reason song.

NEKTAR DAW INTEGRATION
Impact LX25+ software integration supports most of the popular DAWs. A common workflow gives access to many of the functions you are most likely to need when recording and performing with your Impact LX25+. The best part is that it's all done for you: Simply complete the installation process and start making music! Impact LX25+ DAW integration currently supports Cubase, Digital Performer, FL Studio, Garageband, Logic, Nuendo, Reaper, Reason, Sonar and Studio One. Buttons and controls are labelled so you don't have to remember how they are assigned. That's why Impact LX25+ is a breeze to use but with enough extra features under the hood to challenge even the most experienced power user.

TRANSPORT & NAVIGATION
The 6 dedicated transport buttons are always within reach and mapped to control Cycle, Rewind, Forward, Stop, Play and Record. 88-key velocity sensitive MIDI keyboard featuring 8 LED illuminated, velocity sensitive pads
Notes: The Impact LX88+ is a unique USB MIDI controller keyboard designed for keyboard players looking for extra reach. It's jam-packed with intelligent, expressive performance control and hooks up automatically to your DAW! If you prefer to control MIDI hardware, use the build-in MIDI Out as well as the extensive MIDI programing options. Impact LX88+ does it all, and more. Nektar DAW Integration custom designed for most of the popular DAWs, takes Impact LX88+ way beyond functionality normally offered by a MIDI controller keyboard. With Impact LX88+ the hard work is done, so you can focus on your creativity.

IMPACT LX88+ MIDI KEYBOARD
The 88 note velocity sensitive keyboard is a semi-weighted action with medium tension. Carefully balanced with an even and dynamic response , the Impact LX88+ offers 4 velocity curves that gradually increase in dynamics so there is a match for any playing style. If you don't need velocity, 3 fixed velocity levels cater for a consistent output. The full-size, piano-style keys are covered to protect against dirt and dust while also complementing the Impact LX88+ design. Transpose buttons as well as pitch bend and modulation wheels are within reach, so you can quickly shift the keyboard up or down as needed, or apply additional articulation with the wheels.

SPLIT, LAYER & TRANSPOSE BUTTONS
The Impact LX88+ keyboard can send on up to 3 zones at the same time. Press Layer to add the layer zone and split to add the split zone. When split or layer is active, the corresponding LED button is lit so there is no confusion. Each zone can be programmed to send on its own unique MIDI channel with essential settings either pre-programmed or adjustable during performance. This is where the 2 Transpose buttons below the Split and Layer buttons come in. Four functions are selectable on the fly so you can make important changes at any time, even while you play. A key combination makes assignment quick and easy with the LED display telling you which function you have selected. Choices include sending out MIDI Program Messages, change the Global MIDI Channel or select any of Impact LX88+'s 5 user presets with either the Octave or Transpose buttons. Pressing either split or layer while pressing the Transpose buttons will change the setting currently assigned for the corresponding zone. Neat!

CONTROL CENTER
Nine 30mm faders, 9 MIDI buttons and 8 encoders are at the centre of Impact LX88+'s control panel. Each control is fully programmable to send any MIDI CC message for use with hardware or software MIDI products. Used with Nektar DAW integration, the controls take on a life of their own, providing flexible pre-mapped DAW control giving you the best of both worlds. Control settings can be stored in any of the 5 Impact LX88+ presets for recall at any time. And if you switch Null on, any parameter values are stored when you change presets so you avoid parameter jumping.

LED BUTTONS
The 9 LED buttons can be programmed with a variety of MIDI messages including sending specific MIDI Program changes. The last MIDI Program message sent is remembered so a corresponding LED button illuminates correctly, even if Program was sent via, for example, the transpose buttons or the Setup menu. You can also assign the 8 pads to send Program messages so you'll have instant access to 17 buttons without changing preset or pad map. Used with Nektar DAW Integration the LED buttons indicate status for a number of parameters. In Instrument mode, an instrument plugin's switch parameters can be learned with the LED telling you when it's on or off. In Mixer mode the LED buttons control Mute and Solo, with the LED colours indicating the corresponding channels current status.

PADS
For groove and beat creation, Impact LX88+'s 8 velocity sensitive pads make life easy.

NEKTAR DAW INTEGRATION
Impact LX88+ software integration supports most of the popular DAWs. A common workflow gives access to many of the functions you are most likely to need when recording and performing with your Impact LX88+. The best part is that it's all done for you: Simply complete the installation process and start making music! Impact LX88+ DAW integration currently supports Cubase, Digital Performer, FL Studio, Garageband, Logic, Nuendo, Reaper, Reason, Sonar and Studio One.

18 channel hybrid USB mixers with 8 mono and 4 stereo channels - Studio One 3 Artist recording software included
Notes: Built by musicians, for musicians:
StudioLive AR16 USB 18-channel hybrid mixers make it simple to mix and record live shows, studio productions, band rehearsals, podcasts, and much more. This is a musician's mixer: lightweight, versatile, feature-rich, and packed with analog connections and digital tools, yet easy to learn and use. Mix with PreSonus' famous Class A preamps and three-band EQ. Create multitrack recordings and fly in backing tracks with a 24-bit, 96 kHz, USB 2.0 digital audio interface. Record and playback in stereo with the integrated SD digital recorder. Stream program music wirelessly, using onboard Bluetooth. Compact and road-ready, StudioLive AR mixers provide a superior all-in-one solution for mixing and recording your performances.

All of the connections and controls you need:
StudioLive AR16 USB mixers are packed with the connections and controls needed to mix and record live, in the studio, and in rehearsal. Each of the eight mono channels and four stereo channels includes a 60 mm fader for level control; a mic input with one of PreSonus' prized Class A preamps; three-band EQ; and more. Besides the main outputs, you get two monitor mix outputs, each with a dedicate bus, for feeding stage wedges, a headphone amp, or an in-ear system. Since the StudioLive AR16 USB is also a studio mixer, you also get control-room outputs with level control to feed your studio monitors.

Plug guitars and basses directly into the mixer:
Most mixers make you route acoustic and electric guitars and basses through external direct boxes before connecting to a mixer input. But with StudioLive AR mixers, Channels 1 and 2 have high-impedance instrument inputs, so you can plug a guitar or electric bass straight into the board - no direct box needed.

It's inputs; it's playback; it's the Super Channel!
Our unique Super Channel (stereo Channel 17/18) allows you to connect four stereo analog and digital sources at once, enabling you to use the mixer with your high-tech devices. Plug a media player into the Super Channel's unbalanced RCA and 1/8-inch stereo inputs, play stereo audio from the onboard SD recorder or from your USB-connected Mac or Windows PC. Use onboard Bluetooth 4.1 to pair your phone to your StudioLive AR mixer and instantly have wireless access to your music library for break music, backing tracks, or ear-training. Have a song you want the rest of the band to learn? Pair your phone and start rehearsing!

Record in the studio or at the gig - with or without a computer:
Naturally, you want to record your gigs, as well as producing studio projects, podcasts, and so on. It's smart to record your rehearsals, too. So StudioLive AR mixers offer two different ways to record. Connect a StudioLive AR16 USB mixer to your computer via USB 2.0, and you have an 18x4 multitrack digital recorder, ready to capture all input channels plus the main mix to a Mac or Windows PC with professional, 24-bit/96 kHz quality. An onboard stereo SD recorder lets you record the main mix without a computer - just hit Record and go. Recording can't get much easier than this!

Fly in backing tracks and play break music, too!
Both the integrated USB recording interface and the SD recorder have multiple uses beyond simply recording. With just a few backing tracks, your small band can sound like a much larger act, so we enabled the USB interface to play back two stereo streams through the mixer - great for backing tracks, click tracks, or program music. Use the SD recorder to play up to 32 GB of MP3 and .WAV files for hours of program music or backing tracks without needing a computer. And don't forget the Bluetooth feature in the Super Channel, which lets you play break music straight from your smartphone. With several ways to get the job done, you can work the way you want to.

Integrated software makes recording a snap.
PreSonus StudioLive AR mixers are tightly integrated with state-of-the-art recording software to help you achieve your creative vision. Record with PreSonus' Capture live-recording software, then edit in our award-winning Studio One Artist DAW (recording and production software); both are included free.

Sweeten with digital effects for a polished, professional-caliber sound.
To get a great mix, you need high-quality effects. The StudioLive AR16 USB has you covered with an internal stereo effects processor with 16 presets, including an assortment of room, hall, and plate reverbs; chorus and delay effects; even a preset that emulates an acoustically treated studio room to provide a warmer, more intimate tone. A dedicated effects return, complete with master level fader and dedicated monitor sends, lets you adjust the amount of the effects in your main and monitor mixes. You can even bypass the effects with a footswitch (optional). It's just another way that StudioLive AR mixers enable you to build professional-quality mixes and recordings quickly and easily.

RME Fireface UFX+ Thunderbolt & USB3 Audio MIDI Interface
 Add to cart
 1 in stock $2,322.71
RME
Cat: 620461 Rel: 10 Oct 16

188-Channel, 24-Bit/192kHz high-end USB & Thunderbolt audio interface
Notes: 20th Anniversary Flagship Interface:
The Fireface UFX+ becomes the centre of any multitrack studio because it is able to handle up to 94 channels I/O with ease. With unprecedented flexibility, compatibility, the inclusion of DURec (Direct USB Recording) and RME's famous low latency hardware and driver designs, the Fireface UFX+ raises the bar to new heights.
Packed with features not found on its older sibling, including MADI I/O (188 channels of I/O, 128 channels more than the Fireface UFX), a more powerful DSP, USB 3.0, Thunderbolt technology, and a new optional remote control firmly places the RME Fireface UFX+ as the new reference in multitrack recording, mixing and monitoring.

You name it, you connect it:
Its flexibility in connectivity and expansion is unrivalled - Analog, ADAT, MADI, AES, SPDIF. USB 2, USB 3 and Thunderbolt technology are standard on the Fireface UFX+. The UFX+ has an impressive channel count: 12 analog + 16 ADAT + 2 AES + 64 MADI = 94 channels input plus output = 188 channels in total. Thunderbolt technology gives the Fireface UFX+ real PCI Express audio 0performance under Mac and Windows, with lowest latency, lowest system overhead and lowest CPU load. The Fireface UFX+ is fully Thunderbolt technology compatible under Windows, including hot-plugging.
All new AD/DA converters, optimized analog I/O circuits, as well as improved SNR and THD values guarantee pristine, crystal clear and transparent audio. A new PAD-free mic circuit design with +18 dBu maximum input level and 75 dB gain range serves even the most critical recording situation and source trouble-free.
New low impedance Hi-Power phones outputs (2 Ohms) with +19 dBu maximum output level provide ample output power as well as volume on any phones, high or low impedance.

Comprehensive MADI Connectivity:
The Fireface UFX+ opens the doors to a host of RME and 3rd party digital and analog I/O solutions. Expanding your analog channel count, the ability to route/mix within the digital domain through numerous sources presents many flexible options. Multiple external MADI devices can also be connected in series.
To further enhance MADI flexibility, the Fireface UFX+ boasts some typical RME-style features. For example in USB 2 mode, which is limited to 30 channels I/O (12 analog plus 16 ADAT plus AES), the MADI I/O is still available via RME's integrated hardware mixer TotalMix FX. Word Clock I/O (BNC) can be switched to MADI I/O (coaxial), and a special split mode even supports the use of both MADI I/Os simultaneously, with 32 channel each on optical and coaxial.

Improved DURec (Direct USB Recording):
DURec, which is available on the front of the Fireface UFX+, now offers second generation hardware with improved USB functionality and compatibility, providing greater reliability even with slower or multi-partitioned USB thumb drives.
The maximum number of recordable channels has been raised to 76, meaning all 12 analog inputs plus 64 MADI channels can be recorded simultaneously. An internal Realtime Clock (RTC) delivers time-stamped files, and playback now includes several advanced player functions previously unavailable.

ARC USB Remote Control - Plug'n Play Plus:
The ARC USB connects to your computer via USB, and talks to TotalMix FX directly. It has 15 freely assignable and illuminated buttons, one encoder wheel, and a TS jack to connect a foot switch.
The ARC USB is a USB 1.1 MIDI remote control for the Fireface UFX+. Thanks to operating as a UAC 1 class device, it is natively compatible to Windows and Mac OS X. As soon as it is present in the operating system, TotaIMix FX will automatically detect the ARC USB, and communicate with it via simple MIDI remote commands to control the UFX+.

TotalMix FX:
Since 2001, TotalMix has added unlimited routing and mixing to RME audio interfaces. Its unique capability to create as many independent submixes as output channels available, turned it into the most flexible and powerful mixer of its kind.
With supported hardware, TotalMix FX includes a complete effects system, which not only adds flexibility to the recording chain, but also makes latency saddled software solutions obsolete.
TotalMix FX can completely replace an external mixer, enabling the creation of multiple latency-free monitor mixes with EQ, Dynamics, Reverb and Delay for any outputs, incl. main monitors and headphone mixes for musicians.

TotalMix FX for iPad App:
TotalMix FX for iPad adds full control over hardware mixer and DSP effects for Fireface UFX+, UFX, UCX, 802, Babyface, Babyface Pro and MADIface Pro when in Class Compliant Mode, and lets you create, store and load complete mixes directly from the iPad.

RME
Cat: 620636 Rel: 28 Nov 16

136-channel, 192 kHz bus-powered professional USB audio interface
Notes: Taking 8 Channels to 64 Channels:

In 2015 the RME Babyface Pro was launched to much industry acclaim. Now regarded as the new standard in high-end desktop recording, it's superior sound, build quality and professional connectivity has made it the first choice for producers, engineers and artists everywhere.

One year on, and RME have taken the Babyface Pro to the next level. The MADIface Pro retains the beautifully designed housing with its integrated XLR and analog I/Os, but has replaced the ADAT I/O with a MADI port. The result is 64 channels of pristine audio on a single cable on an interface that will fit in your laptop bag with your computer.

Because of its physical design and versatile I/O, the MADIface Pro is the perfect mobile solution where quality audio is critical. As well as remote, live, broadcast and industrial applications, the MADIface Pro is also the complete solution for the studio.

Basic Functionality:
Two analog mic/line XLR inputs, two XLR line outputs, two universal TS inputs for line or instrument, and 2 stereo TRS outputs for low and high impedance headphones provide everything you need to work on your projects in the studio or on the move.

TotalMix FX adds 3-band parametric EQs and reverb/ echo, plus unlimited mixing and routing options. A MIDI I/O completes the fully DAW compatible feature set. The unit operates USB bus powered and usually does not need an external power supply, unless the MADI I/O is used.

MADI I/O:
The optical MADI I/O offers 64 input and out channels, and sample rates up to 192 kHz. It is fully supported in TotalMix FX, with the analog I/Os simultaneously available, resulting in 68 channels input and 68 channels output over USB 2.
To address the increased power demand, RME has implemented a delayed start of the MADI transceiver on power-up, and an option to temporarily disable it when not needed. The MADIface Pro includes an external power supply with lockable connector.

Stand-Alone Mode:
When not connected to a computer, the MADIface Pro enters stand-alone mode. The easy to use control surface with dedicated buttons and four level meter bars, along with independent storage of all current settings have already become important workflow features for many existing Babyface Pro owners.

A very useful MADI monitor feature has been added to stand-alone mode. MADI channels 1 to 64 are passed unchanged from input to output (but refreshed by the MADIface Pro SteadyClock III). Optionally channels 1/2 can be replaced by the input signals 1/2, 3/4, MADI 1/2 or a user adjustable mixdown of all these channels. The analog outputs can be used to listen to any incoming MADI channel pair.

RME USB 2.0:
It's RME's ability to deliver professional performance over USB 2.0 that allows the MADIface Pro to record and playback 68 simultaneous channels, all with buffer sizes as low as 32 samples (lowest value depends on computer used).

The MADIface Pro can be used in Class Compliant mode achieving 24 channels of I/O (4 analog, 20 channels MADI) on an iPad. This truly professional and mobile solution can be easily set and controlled via RME's optional iOS app TotalMix FX for iPad, available in the App Store.

Roland Boutique TB03 Computer Controlled 303 Bass Line Synth
 Add to cart
 8 in stock $349.10
Cat: 626162 Rel: 31 Oct 16

Realistic recreation of the iconic TB-303 Bass Line synth, with new features
Notes: The battery-powered TB-03 is a direct descendant of the famous TB-303 Bass Line Synth. The layout and controls are unchanged, so it works just like the original. It sounds like it too, thanks to Roland's advanced ACB technology that recreates the hypnotic liquid grooves of the magic silver box. But the new TB-03 goes even further, with several enhancements not found on the original model. The four-digit LED display makes programming easier and more accurate, while overdrive and delay effects let you unleash a twisted, tribal wall of sound to send the crowd into a frenzy. Back in the studio, the TB-03 can send control information via MIDI or its USB port, the latter of which also functions as a 24-bit/96 kHz audio interface.

Authentic 303 Sound and Behaviour via Roland's ACB Technology:
You know when you hear a TB-303 - a hypnotic, tribal sound that works best in dark, crowded rooms with big sound systems. Using the same ACB (Analog Circuit Behaviour) technology from the acclaimed AIRA series, the TB-03 accurately emulates the expressive, slippery sound of its older brother, and even adds a few surprises. Saw and square waveforms are available, along with all of the rotary control knobs that help shape the 303's unique character, including tuning, cut-off, resonance, envelop mod, decay, and accent.

New Features Not Found in the Original:
The TB-03 includes several enhancements over the original TB-303. Firstly, the four-digit LED display makes programming easier and more detailed, since you now have a visual representation of the value being edited. Then there are a variety of overdrive, delay, and reverb effects that dramatically change the mood and tone of the TB-03, going from smooth to spiky to squealing. Programming patterns is also easier thanks to newly added functions that include step write, shuffle, and fine tempo control. Finally, the inclusion of MIDI and USB ports mean that the TB-03 can send and receive control information and connect easily to computer-based DAWs.

Classic TB Sequencer with Enhanced Functions:
If you're familiar with the TB-303's programming method, then you'll feel right at home with the TB-03. The original Pitch and Time write modes are included, along with an all-new Step mode. Pattern programming is also enhanced by the LED display, which shows the current step in the sequence as well as showing fine tempo values (such as 125.5 BPM). The internal sequencer can be triggered externally via the trigger input, and you can even switch between write and play modes without stopping pattern playback, opening up new possibilities for live performance.

Connect with External gear:
The TB-03 includes MIDI IN/OUT ports and USB, allowing control information to be exchanged with other instruments and devices. This turns the TB-03 into a versatile controller, especially as you can use the CV/Gate output to control external analog gear and modular synthesizers. This level of control works both ways, thanks to the trigger input that lets external gear drive the TB-03's internal sequencer. Once connected to a PC or Mac, both audio and MIDI data can be sent through the USB port.

Battery or USB Bus Power:
Some of the best music is made away from the studio, so the Roland Boutique series runs on 4 x AA batteries, ready for when inspiration strikes. Alternatively, the TB-03 can run on USB bus power.

USB Audio Interface for Direct Recording to Your DAW:
Via its USB port, the TB-03 functions as a high-quality 24-bit/96 kHz audio interface, providing a simple and reliable way of recording directly to your DAW application. You can keep your favourite settings and sequencer patterns safe too via the USB data backup function.

Roland Boutique TR09 Rhythm Composer 909 Drum Machine
 Add to cart
More than 10 in stock $391.54
Cat: 626161 Rel: 31 Oct 16

Compact & portable recreation of the iconic TR-909 drum machine
Notes: The influence of the TR-909 drum machine is still heard - and felt - more than three decades after it was launched. Now, the 909 sound is available as part of the Roland Boutique series in the form of the TR-09. Featuring the same front-panel layout and user interface of the original, the TR-09 is powered by Roland's ACB technology, delivering the speaker-pummelling power of the TR-909 in a super-affordable and portable format. Offering precise control over an array of drum parameters and the ability to keep playing when switching modes, the TR-09 may be compact, but it still has the power to move people. Studio sessions are well catered for too, with four separate outputs via USB audio, external instrument control via a trigger output, and USB MIDI.

909 Power via Roland's ACB Technology:
The original TR-909 blended analog kick, snare, and tom drums with six-bit samples for the hi-hats and cymbals. This hybrid approach to sound generation meant that the 909 sounded like no other drum machine. Accurately recreating such an influential sound while retaining the ability to edit and tweak the various parameters is only possible via Roland's ACB (Analog Circuit Behaviour) technology, which is also found in the popular AIRA series.

Classic TR-REC Sequencer with Enhanced Functions:
Dedicated TR-909 users will recognise the classic TR-REC style of programming found in the TR-09, with a choice of Step or Tap write modes. You can even change modes while the pattern continues playing, something not possible on the original. The TR-09 sequencer has 16 steps, and each has 16 sub-steps so you can fine-tune your performances. And just like the original TR-909, the Shuffle/Flam parameter can be selected using the buttons - but if you need greater control, simply use the display and rotary encoder to perfect your pattern.

Connect with External Gear:
The TR-09 is designed to easily connect with other gear. The main stereo mini-jack output can also be reconfigured to send the selected instrument to the right channel, with the other instruments output to the left. A mix input routes external audio through the main outputs, while the trigger output lets the TR-09 drive vintage analog synths such as the SH-101 or JX-3P, or modern gear like the current SYSTEM-500 modular series. Sync and control other gear via standard MIDI ports or USB, and even send the audio of four individual drum parts via USB to continue working in your favourite DAW.

Battery or USB Bus Power:
Some of the best music is made away from the studio, so the Roland Boutique series runs on 4 x AA batteries, ready for when inspiration strikes. Alternatively, you can power the TR-09 with USB bus power.

USB Audio Interface for Direct Recording to Your DAW:
Via its USB port, the TR-09 also functions as a high-quality audio interface, providing a simple and reliable way of recording directly to your DAW application. You can even send individual drums to separate channels, thanks to the TR-09's four discrete outputs over USB. Saving your favourite settings and sequencer patterns is easy too via the USB data backup function.

Roland Boutique VP03 Vocoder (synthesizer/vocoder)
Cat: 626163 Rel: 31 Oct 16

Compact & portable recreation of the iconic VP-330 Vocoder Plus
Notes: The VP-03 is a miniature version of the VP-330 Vocoder Plus, one of the most popular vocoders ever made. Part of the Roland Boutique series, the VP-03 brings together the worlds of synthesized sound and the human voice, using the latest ACB technology to accurately emulate the sound that made the original so influential. The VP-03 has the VP-330's vocoder, human voice, and strings sound sources on board, and comes with a gooseneck microphone. And when paired with the optional K-25m Keyboard Unit, you've got the authentic VP-330 vibe in a reliable, low-cost setup that's highly portable. There are new features too, including 16 Chord Memory setups and a Voice Step Sequencer for even more creative potential. Whether you want the classic, electro-infused 'talking robot' sound or the expressive power of shaping synth sounds with the human voice, the VP-03 puts it all at your fingertips.

New Voice Step Sequencer:
The VP-03 includes a new Voice Step Sequencer not included in the original VP-330, which allows you to input a single note, chord, or your voice into each of the 16 steps, with each step comprising up to six notes. The result is a distinctive rhythmic effect that brings dynamic motion to the VP-03. You can use a series of functions to change the order of steps within the sequence for unpredictable and inspiring results. Saving your best sequences to a computer via USB is easy using the backup/restore function.

New Chord Memory Function:
Another new function not found in the original VP-330 is Chord Memory, which lets you play back chords using just one finger. With 16 locations available, you can quickly store and recall your favourite chords using one of the 16 step buttons. You can also create your own chords and save them into these locations, and back them up to your computer using the backup/restore function.

Connect with External Gear:
In addition to line and headphone outputs (both in mini-jack format), the VP-03 is equipped with a full-size XLR mic input. Simply connect the supplied gooseneck mic to fully unlock the VP-03's creative potential, using your voice (or any other sound) to filter and shape the on-board synthesized sounds. You can also connect the VP-03 to other devices, either through the standard MIDI IN/OUT ports or via a Micro-B USB connection that handles both audio and MIDI data.

Optional K-25m Keyboard Unit:
The VP-03 works especially well with the K-25m, an optional 25-note keyboard that takes your music making to the next level. Once docked in the keyboard, the module's front panel adjusts to three positions for convenient access to the knobs and sliders. Just attach the included gooseneck mic and you're ready to go!

Battery or USB Bus Power:
Some of the best music is made away from the studio, so the Roland Boutique series runs on 4 x AA batteries, ready for when inspiration strikes. Alternatively, you can use the VP-03 with USB bus power. Incredibly portable, the VP-03 weighs just 940 g/33 oz. with the batteries installed.

USB Audio Interface for Direct Recording to Your DAW:
Via its USB port, the VP-03 also functions as a high-quality audio interface, providing a simple and reliable way of recording directly to your DAW application. You can keep your favourite settings and voice step sequencer patterns safe too via the USB data backup function.
