Returning to LA's Friends of Friends imprint, Salva follows up his album with this fascinating mixed bag of an EP. "Yellobone" is undoubtedly the star of the show, capitalising on the house music Salva previously hinted at for a thoroughly deep and pumping, old school flavoured jam. It's incredibly accomplished for an artist who doesn't often go for such purist floor cuts. B Bravo lends his R&B flava to "Obsession", while "Komodo" snaps and cracks in a dubstep rhythm but with an almost trancey penchant to the synth. Essential.
