Bee Mask has been at the centre of attention recently, with everyone from Ben UFO to Rivet declaring their love for this LP. They're totally right, too; it's an intelligent mixture of experimentation and playfulness starting from "Frozen Falls", a glitched-out pastiche of broken howls and twinkling modulations. We won't spoil it all for you but there are certainly some other highlights, such as "The Story Of Keys And Locks", a track containing no discernible percussion but that gains shape and momentum thanks to Bee Mask's masterful use of noises; or "Pink Drink", a wonderfully bizarre gurgle of sonics and rippling effects - almost chemical in their texture; and "Rain In Coffee", a soundscape which really does paint a detailed picture of the artist's emotion and gives the listeners an insight into Bee Mask's creative mind. A must have.
