After a pair of 12" singles for L.I.E.S. the mighty Voiski heads East to mark his debut on the CCCP sub label - that's right the Parisian stepping up for Russian Torrent Versions is every bit as deadly as you'd expect. Across the three tracks we are treated to Voiski at his best, with A side hogger "Go Play Your Games" a warehouse ready exercise in techno intensity which could go on for much longer than its eight minute duration without losing any potency. On the flip, "With Someone Else" sounds almost like a Voiski remix of Hodge's Livity classic "Amor Fati", reducing the track down to a shuddering rhythmic cage, whilst "I Would Not Be Logical" is a proper long dark tunnel epic with some rasping drum programming.
