Leo 'Zero' Elstob has been pretty prolific of late; offering up all manner of re-edits and remixes on both vinyl and CD. Here he turns his hand to original production, utilizing a range of old drum machines, samplers and tape machines to create loopy DJ tools and filter-heavy club smashers. With nods to disco, boogie, acid house and loop techno, Very Repetitive sounds like a long lost jam session between Thomas Bangalter, The Revenge, Switch, DJ Sneak and 80s NYC tape edit maestros The Latin Rascals. In truth, home listeners may find it a little hard going after a while, but there's more than enough floor-friendly fodder to keep party-minded DJs happy.
