Italian experimentalist Vaghe Stelle has been quietly forging his sound across EPs for Margot, Shabu and Opilec, but this graduation to Gang Of Ducks sees the producer's first physical release, in a plush silk-screen printed sleeve no less. The music contained within emerges in many different shades, from the emotional grind of "4th Hope" to the industrial blasts of "8th Hope", not to mention the dissected hardcore breaks and searching melodics of "10th Hope". The combinations are curious at every turn, and there's still space for remixes from Best Available Technology and GOD who turn out reduced dub-house abstractions and muffled techno respectively.
