Iconic Dutch producer Orlando Voorn drops one of his trademark savvy excursions into the soulful depths of Motor City techno on this smart opaque vinyl release. There's a delightful sheen of melody that runs throughout "Unpredictable Love" with Voorn indulging in some delightful vocal rhythmic effects as the track shuffles towards a gently acidic finish. As nice as Voorn's original is, "Unpredictable Love" finds it's feet via the accompanying remix from The Analog Roland Orchestra who repositions the track for a more urgent crowd, embellishing the rhythmic thrust with some growling bottom end. What really impresses however is how the remix unfurls into the sort of epic building techno behemoth we've come to expect from the Munich based producer.
