House of Disco continue their maturity from blog into fully fledged label, with their sixth release since expanding operations the most ambitious thus far. Firstly, it's the debut single from Swedish trio Monitor 66 whose "Triscuits" is a wondrous slice of ethereal disco, the thick low end complemented by some delightfully liquid melodic touches and some crafty manipulation of a Keith Sweat track. The standard of commissioned remixers also demonstrates House Of Disco are doing it right, with PBR Streetgang, Robert Rodriguez and Dead Rose Music Company all present and correct here. It's the latter who perhaps impresses the most, craftily retaining elements of Monitor 66's ethereal approach but rewiring the track to a sound more appropriate for sweat filled basements.
