Amoss has been making good progress in the last couple of years and has become a very credible producer indeed with a slew of releases on the Horizons imprint and beyond. This next release is another sterling performance; "Tripped" builds from an eerie intro with tense, ticking beats into the main part with insistent vocal, warping bass with a touch of Icicle about it, pounding subs and buckets of menace and murkiness. A late night stepper, no doubt. "Why Do We Fall" is another killer cut with a more driving, dancefloor edge it pairs groaning SFX with percussive beats and again, a gloomy presence hangs over it ominously.
