The excellent Greta Cottage Workshop has long been a trusted hotspot for textured and intricate deep house. One of their regular contributors Wasserfall returns for another four dreamy, expressive cuts, varying the rhythms but maintaining the mood throughout. Lead track "Thursday" lets great ripples of melody radiate out over a clean and steady beat with that same ambiguous atmosphere you would find from the likes of DJ Qu. "Unwind" has a kinkier vibe to it, and a little touch of Detroit at the same time, but hold tight for the beatdown styles of "Tuwa" where the 4/4 kick gets cut loose to great effect.
