Tommy Four Seven and Alain released their second full album entitled Vicarious Memories (on their own Hidden Hundred), in late 2016. Although loosely an instrumental electronic album, the album made extensive use of guitar and vocals and featured prominent guest vocal contributions from underground Berlin based musicians Julia Kotowski and Ale Hop. Now we are treated to a series of remixes which remain in (dis)harmony with the originals and they've drafted quite the recruits: all capable of keeping in line with the brutalist aesthetics. Telefon Tel Aviv aka Josh Eustis steps up first to deliver an advanced retake on "Glasir", showcasing his singular sound as always. Los Angeleno and Droid Recordings main man Drumcell dons the Hypoxia moniker once again for more brooding darkwave noise on his version of "The Telepath". The legendary UK dark ambient maestro Lustmord impresses with a version more sublime and soothing than you'd expect from the man, on his chill and dubby remix of "Socotra" until the EPs highlight comes in the form of the equally legendary Justin Broaderick. As JK Flesh he delivers a typically gnarly and contorted take on techno with "Dendera Light".
