The evergreen GAMM label continues its revitalised trawl through the crates of soul and disco history, adding Italian reel chopper Suonho to their bustling pan continental family with this excellent 12". Those ensconsed in the land of edits will recognise Suonho from recent outings on Tusk Wax, Kolour and Directors Cut (which included a stellar alternate take of "Shaft's Theme") and his debut on GAMM has a neat theme to it, tweaking both the original War version of "The World Is A Ghetto" and the epic jazz funk cover that George Benson did. Both clock in between 100 and 115 bpm so this is strictly early doors material but the War revision has a nice bump to it!
