Don't mix this Juno exclusive clear vinyl repress of one of 2009's most cherished deep house releases, namely ''The Soul Pt II'' by Craig Smith and The Revenge. The original was used to great effect by Seth Troxler on his Boogiebytes mix for BPitch earlier this year, with its sultry percussion, vocal moans and gently building chords making it one of the finest examples of the 'slow house' genre that has taken off in 2010. Graeme Clark then dons his 6th Borough Project hat to turn in a remix that strips the vocal elements and rides a tough percussive groove to the bone, while Irish producer John Daly takes up the whole flip side with his hypnotic, sprawling remix. Stunning stuff all round.
